RCI..Any more info??????

I have been affiliated with RCI for over 20 years now and have yet to get a trade that is as nice as a Disney DVC resort. I am glad they are hand-picking from RCI that to which they are willing to assign the Disney trade rights. I was actually quite alarmed when I first read this was happening even though I understand Disney has been affiliated with RCI in the past.

I have stayed at RCI resorts that were as good or better than DVC in many ways. There are some certainly. Partly it depends on what's important to you. If theming is the big item, nobody does that like DVC. From a unit, pool or even service standpoint, there are RCI resorts that are at least DVC's equal but not many. I'd say most of the Hilton's GVC, Grand Mayan's, several of the MX resorts, a couple of CO resorts would be on my list. Hopefully the new Summer Bay in LV will be there as well as we're staying there coming up. Still, there aren't many, weren't that many for II either but the Marriott's did add a chunk that were (as I write this from the Marriott in Aruba).
