Alrighty, here it is!

Lunch:

A sandwich with honey turkey, provolone, tomato and Hellman's light mayo on whole wheat bread. A spinach salad with grapes and bleu cheese and Red Wine Mist salad spritzer. A mushroom rice noodle bowl. For dessert a 100 calorie pack Oreo Thin Crisps and to drink a chilled bottle of water w/ bendy straw.

Sorry you can't see the dessert better but the other pic I took didn't come out right for some reason.

I give you a 10 for presentation since lunch at my desk would be a pile of plastic bags.

Content: -1 for the noodle bowl, not my favorite. Sandwich looks yummy as does salad though.

Extra props for bendy straw....

Ash- the pizza, the presentation, the health! I think that just might be the best 1-st time picture I have seen. I give you a 9, because I hate mushrooms.

LB- Again, with the guilt-inducing low-carb dessert-less fare. :sad2: ANd Sweet-n-low? Yuck. I can only give you a 7, and you only got that because the country-themed presentation is lovely.

Swimnoid- the table is lacking something... And your meal looks good, just not extraordinary. I have to mark you down for the Barbie-pink placemat as well. But, tasty looking food MINUS presentation panache = 6.5

Everyone has SO stepped it up a notch...kudos everyone!...and now I'm SOOO hungry! Minus 1 pt for me for coming here when hungry and no food in my vicinity! (nor my tummy) :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Jason, you're a nut

Thank goodness I don't have a camera at my desk! My lunch was a sandwich in a baggie. No napkin, no utensils, no atmosphere. I ate it with my hands and got coleslaw all over me. I had a bottle of water with NO straw.

I am so ashamed :sad2: :sad2:

Oh, and desert was a mini chocolate bar that melted on my hands

Where are the following?
Bendy straw with beverage. Nice matching place setting that is pleasing to the eye. A theme. Dessert. A veggi or fruit. Etc :confused3

Popdaddy: -5 points for sicking me out by taking a picture shoveling food into your mouth.

That's usually what mine is too, but this thread has inspired me to "jazz" it up a bit. :teeth:

Ok here it is.

I had a lean cuisine pizza with a side of barbeque baked lays, bottled water with ice in my splash mountain cup, for dessert a low calorie pudding parfait, and then finished it off with a nice cup of warm raspberry herbal tea. I would also like to mention that the patented chip holder is an original work of art by, myself.

You have outdone yourself with the parfait presentation. I also like the scattering of gourds and leaves. Just because barbeque baked lay's are my favorite chip, you're getting a 9.75. I could do without whatever is on that pizza...

Today's lunch:

DSC02452.jpg

You're looking at a hamburger patty blanketed with melty Velveeta resting on hearts of romaine and lovely, ripe tomato slices. On the side you'll find mayo and spicy brown mustard. The soup is homemade tomato, and a dill pickle is peeking out shyly from behind the bowl. Today's beverage is iced decaf coffee, with 2 sweet n lows, a splash of vanilla, and some cream.

This gourmet repast is nestled among a restful country scene, featuring a cute little straw girl made years ago at DD's homeschool Little House on the Prairie co-op study, along with a sunflower and Farmer Mickey. The nesting chickens are salt and pepper.

Snicker loves it - you can tell by the shining look in her little doggy eyes.

Go ahead - rate my lunch.

LB, your choice of beverage is outstanding. Also, because I am on a low carb diet, the burger sans bun is just the right touch. I am happy to see Snicker in the background as well. You continue to show your dedictation to RML. I give you a 10.

I'm all about the action shot, Pop Daddy. But, where in the name of Rate My Lunch are the sides and beverage? I am not counting the cheese as a side, so don't try to persuade me. I do like your effort, so I am giving you a 6.5.
