Hi all,
I'm just wondering what my DIS family's experience has been with making Table Requests prior to their cruises. Have there been any good or unexpectedly 'undesirable' outcomes with regard to any of these options?

I mean, it looks great to request something specifically for 1923, but Arendelle and Marvel have completely different layouts and vibes...what have you all experienced?

I've traveled as a party of 3 the past two cruises and I was unable to secure a private table both times. However, during the first cruise, we were moved to a private table after a bad experience at Arendelle.

Thanks, both of you!

I'm sorry it took a bad experience to get you that private table, LRdismom!
If you want a private table make that your request
Thanks, dreamer17555. I'm more asking about any experiences like "we requested a table near the center and it was way too loud at Arendelle" or "we got a private table at a quieter location and regretted it because we were TOO far away from all the action" or "we really loved the table we got with a screen for entertainment and it was great at all three locations."

Just trying to decide if I even want to make a request...and if so which?

Marvel has screens that you look at. I think you can see a screen from pretty much any table-of course some may have better views than others, but I think everyone can see. Arendelle has a stage in the center-it's slightly raised, but if you're far away you won't be able to see much (it's mostly singing, so there's not a ton to 'see'). 1923 has neither screens nor live entertainment. Arendelle is pretty loud regardless of where you're seated (IIRC). You kind of have to pick the one thing that's a priority and go with that.

I requested near the center of the dining room so that my 6 year old could have a good view of the Frozen show at Arendelle, and we had a great seat! Since the Marvel restaurant is all screens around the room, it really didn't matter where we sat. Same with 1923, there is no entertainment. So we got what we requested, and I was happy with it.

THAT makes perfect sense and I really appreciate the insight! Thank you.

Thank you! So basically: If seeing the show at Arendelle clearly is key, request the center and it won't have a negative impact on seating at the other two. Thank you so much!

We put in a request for close to center for our Wish Cruise over Labor Day. Night 2 was our 29th anniversary and Arendelle night and we had told our servers the night before we were celebrating our anniversary. We had a party of 4 adults. It appeared that our original table was not what we ended up getting ( ended up really close to the stage ). We actually loved it. I had heard so many times how loud it is in there and I swear we all thought it wasn’t loud at all. It was almost as if they had turned down the volume somehow
