Rate my lunch

I only managed to photograph 2 of my meals when I was gone for the weekend. The first was at Logan airport, on my arrival. It features a bowl of Clam Chowder, oyster crackers to go with, and a Diet Coke (sadly, no bendy straws at The Summer Shack Express). For atmosphere, I thoughtfully included the back of the guy at the next table, to give that special, airport ambience. Also note the simulated red checkered tablecloth effect of the tray liner. Very festive.

While I was at my friend's house, she made me what she calls Islands, and what we call Egg-in-the-Hole at my house. The bread is Trader Joe's Whole Wheat. The plate of apples was from the apple farm we had visited with her kids the day before. The charming New England Fishing Town mug holds steamy hot Irish Breakfast tea. The fishies are salt and pepper.

insorry...the truth, please...did your husband really make that salad or did you find that picture in photobucket? :scratchin Not to ever doubt you, of all people! :lmao: If he made the salad, I give you a 10! If you tricked us, I still give you a 10! :rotfl:

Ash, your meal looks great, too, and I give you a 10. I won't ding you for the lack of the dog's butt. :teeth:

He really made it!! He is so much more creative than me - I throw everything in a bowl and mix it up! You should see him arrange shrimp scampi - I have to get a digital camera!!

No pciture today but I had a hotdog, pizza rolls and chocolate chip cookies! :thumbsup2

Litebrite--Although I like the contents of the soup lunch there just isnt enough color for me. Needs desert too.

Breakfast looks YUMMY! I want it!

You guys are too funny! I can't bring myself to take photos of my food. It would be pointless anyway - I hardly ever care about presentation!

Today I had leftovers warmed up at work: BBQ chicken (seasoned by the grocery store but baked by DH), mashed potatoes (made by DH), candied sweet potato (DH again), fried plantain & mixed veggies (bought from a restaurant in town). For dessert, dark fruit cake with rum. And yes, I am at work! :rotfl:

LB....I missed seeing your Crocs! The clam chowder doesn't do anything for me, but the breakfast looks yummy! Glad you're back. I won't rate the chowder since I don't eat anything that swims, but I give the eggs a 9.

You had me until the eggs. I can eat the parents no problem but I just can't stomach the thought of eating chicken embryos :crazy2: 6 from me

You know sometimes I really don't like this thread because it always makes me hungry!

I have been too usy the past few days to post my dinner from Friday. Went to my Dis this weekend and Sunday my Godson went into the hospital, had to have his appendix out. I took one for the team Friday night and took a pic of my dinner at Fair Oaks Mall in VA. I just haven't been able to download my pics from the weekend yet.

I took a picture of my lunch out today, but I didn't think to bring my camera, so took the picture on my camera phone. Later I will need to figure out how to get the camera phone picture to Photobucket so I can then get it on here. luvflorida, it was my husband who asked me if I brought my camera to lunch and who encouraged me to take a picture. He even wanted to take a picture off the wall for a backdrop. :rotfl2: I had to put my foot down about that! :sad2:

LB- I can't do clam chowder. I'm not a big seafood person, anyway. But, since you took a pic of your food in an airport, I'll give you a 6.

The breakfast, on the other hand, looks pretty tasty. Your friend probably thinks you are a total geek. I love the islands, would have liked to see some juice. Fresh apples- nice. I give breakfast an 8.

Beck, while I was there, I showed my friend the early part of the thread, up till my lunch in my Crocs, because she's a red hot Croc lover, and I knew she would appreciate it. When I took the breakfast picture, she actually stopped me and made me take it with a better napkin and she kept rearranging my cutlery to get it just right! :rotfl2:

Now, that is a truly pathetic story :sad2: and an awesome friend :teeth:

This is my yesterday's lunch, and I immediatly thought of Luvflorida and her strong feelings with vegetables :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:
So I took a picture... rate my lunch!! It's leek and potatoe soup with cream, mushroom lemon salad, baguette bread, and home made chocolate cake. The bottle of wine is just deco, as we bought it as a gift for a friend of us...
