Rate my lunch

:sad2: you say it like it's weird

No. It's not weird. My husband will completely understand that I've become a mostly SAHM because I need to look at what other people are eating for lunch. He won't have a problem with that.

If anybody is going to be at DW in the coming weeks my family will be the homeless looking ones that are stinking up the parks. :goodvibes

good man...he's a keeper :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Okay, folks! Today I went with my all time favorite theme- summertime!! :sunny: Lunch is on the porch, and Jimmy Buffett music is playing in the background. I've gone with a picnic theme consisting of a hot dog with relish, potato chips, buttered noodles, and of course, dessert. I'll admit the apple is only to represent nutrition and I have no intentions of actually eating it.

Can we all agree that I've come a remarkably long way in both my picture posting prowess and food presentation? And, can we all agree that I have way too much free time on my hands? :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Disclaimer: I did not really eat on the porch. It is October. This is Maine. It is cold. :rotfl2:

I have a few questions before I can score you.

Is there ketchup or mustard on the hot dog?

Is there salt & pepper on the buttered noodles?

What exactly is the beverage?

Presentation: 9.8. Good theming. The sunlight from the windows and your chosen place to consume lunch adds to the light, airy atmosphere. The summer themed glass is great as well.

Taste: your lunch probably tastes really good. I'd give it a 9.5

Nutrition: 6.8 You are getting adequate protein and starches in all your meals so far. The apple, although a nice touch, doesn't ADD ANYTHING NUTRIONALLY UNLESS YOU EAT IT. Your other lunches have been scant in veggies/fruits as well.

I'll give you a bonus if you dump the cupcake and eat the apple instead, but I rather doubt you care about earning such a bonus.

1. It depends. Will you add or deduct points for ketchup and/or mustard?

2. Definitely salt and pepper.

3. Refreshingly cold Pepsi with ice. Please take into consideration the matching themed glass.

The cupcake is back...the cupcake is back!!!!! I hate rating people, unless they are employees, so I'll just give you a 10 because I really like your display.

Alright. I'm giving you a 9.0 today.

Hot dogs are repulsive & should always be eaten with a beer. That's a half point deduction. I'm going to look past the lack of mustard on the repulsive hot dog.

Kudos for the salt & pepper and for the return of the cupcake.

If you aren't drinking a beer with the hot dog it should probably be a diet Pepsi. Half point deduction.

Beautiful presentation. :thumbsup2

What do you mean BACK? I don't think it ever left. That's probably what the unseen breakfast was the other day that she blamed on her cat too.

I haven't seen that many cupcakes since my 5 year old son's last birthday party.

Hi, my name is Luvflorida and I'm addicted to chocolate cupcakes...

OK, luvflorida, I need to talk to you at the request of my husband...yes, I showed your most recent pic to my husband. :sad2: He has some serious doubt about your....seashell. Says it was photoshopped in. It does look a bit suspicious. So what gives with that? Can't rate you until I hear back about that. :rolleyes1

There's good reflection of the seashells on the table, plus she's from FL. They have conchs all over the place there.

Besides, her sugar rush from her cupcakes would make it nearly impossible for her to have a steady hand to photoshop with, not to mention that she just recently learned how to POST photos on the Internet, much less manipulate them and the shadow onto the picture.

-2 points for the DH questioning the integrity of Ms. Cupcake.

+0.5 points for withstanding this bold attack on your integrity.

-5.0 points to ME for not reading Ms. Cupcake's tag before maligning her for her cupcake fetish.

But she's not from Florida, she's just obsessed and wants to move there. At least I don't think she's from there. I could be wrong (I've been wrong once or twice before :teeth: ).

And I'd eat the apple and the cupcake, but I'd spread all that eating out over the afternoon. I'm a nibbler.

Man, my ham sandwich with a coke is decidedly lacking. Even if it is on a mickey plate and in a color change TGIFriday's kid's cup.

Love the presentation, that was a lanai worthy presentation!

Suzanne

I give you a 9 today, luvsflorida. The conch shell and the adirondack chair are a lovely touch. At first I thought the seashell way too large, but then I realized that it needed to be large in order to keep the picture symmetrical.

Your second pic I give a 9.5. The cupcakes look absolutely luscious! The only reason I took off the .5 is because there were two orange cupcakes together. You should have added in a 6th one to keep the AB pattern continuously flowing. Also, you should have labeled one with my name on it. :teeth:

Two enthusiastic thumbs up! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Now I want a cupcake. I do have to grocery shop after work tonight, perhaps that will be our dessert!

OK, I'm awarding you a 9.5...I've got to ding you 1/2 point for the serious infraction of no hot dog bun (even though that's normal eating around here...).

Maybe the next time you make the buttered noodles you could add a little milk and Velveeta and cook it until it makes a nice cheese sauce, just for sugarpie! :thumbsup2 :teeth:
