Ok, here's today's lunch.

I went for simplicity. Chicken salad (I bought a whole rotisserie chicken at WalMart, deboned it, cut it up, and made the dressing myself. DISCLAIMER: I used store bought mayonaise in the dressing), and a romaine salad on the side with creamy vinagrette. Today's soda is Diet 7up, and I'll brew the English Afternoon tea as soon as I'm done eating. The kitty is salt, and the easy chair is pepper.

Ok, I'm ready - rate my lunch.

9.8 for presentation. Having matching salt and pepper shakers (plus kitty theme) match both the setting AND the tea bag was artistic genius.

9.2 for nutrition. All food groups are covered, although it looks like more than 4 oz of chicken in the salad. Having tea, full of anti-oxidents is good too!

I'm giving you an 8. Your presentation is wonderful. The bow around the napkin is an especially nice tough. I like that everything is home made. And I love your beverage choice of a Diet 7 up. That part of the pic is kinda dark. Is there a bendy straw in it? I didn't see any dessert, however, which is why you are only getting an 8 today.

I loved the cloth napkin, napkin ring and matching placemat, silverware in their proper locations and the nutrition value.

The only thing I took points off for is the postion of the bendy straw. It should be bent. I am a real stickler for the bendy straw.

And, thank you for omitting the footwear today.

Yet again, LiteBrite, you are lacking dessert... I'm really a little disappointed that you seem to have a hard time stepping up to the plate, but I'm not gong to ding you much, only one point for that.

There is no animal in your picture, but then again, maybe you don't have a pet. Not everyone is lucky enough to be owned by a pet.

I'll give you a 9, dinging only for the lack of dessert. The salt/pepper is a cute touch. Maybe next time you can try some sort of centerpiece. Think of the competition here... A third item on the place would have looked nicer, but that could have been the dessert, so I won't ding you for that (see how nice I am?). All in all a very classy lunch.

Yes, that is a bendy straw. The tea is my "dessert", because I'm trying to drop a little weight. Sucky, I know, but there it is.

See answer above concerning dessert. Concerning lack of pet, here is my dog Snicker checking
out the remains of my lunch. DISCLAIMER: It only looks like her chin is resting on my plate because of the camera angle - no part of her came in direct contact with my lunch.

I also have another dog, Rosie, but I couldn't get her to stand still long enough to be photographed with any portion of my lunch.
