Rate my lunch

OK- the food looks good, but where's the rice? And honestly, the cupcakes are TIRED. We need a new dessert. If that's crab rangoon I'm looking at, there's a bonus point. Subtract 1 if it's just fried wantons.

Sitting at the computer shows your dedication, though, and I love chinese takeout. So overall, I'm going to give it an 8.

My husband ate the rice, they're fried wontons, and I didn't hear your cupcake comment. :teeth:

And don't think I didn't notice that you originally posted the pic of the hot dog buns!! :rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: HA! HA! I was hoping nobody noticed! I guess I wasn't fast enough in fixing it!

Don't like Chinese. But love cupcakes! Keep 'em coming!

Overall, a 6.5....It isn't pretty, but it is take-out, which is always good. :)

Sorry about the lunch fiasco, but don't despair- Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's dinner!

The presentation isn't the best, but come on, people, there's a Fortune Cookie AND a cupcake!!!!! And to anyone that thinks I'm going to eat that green, leafy stuff: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

First, I am disappointed in the lack of the lunch photo, but I do understand your trepidation....HOWEVER, your dinner looks yummy although the presentation leaves a lot to be desired. BUT, where the heck is Henry??

:wave2: Send the green leafy stuff over here - I know I'm weird but I just love it. I'll give you about a 6 since the rice does make it look messy and chicken is a little too saucy. Oh, and a plate would been a nice touch. Don't worry though, there's always tomorrow :teeth: .

What's on the menu for breakfast :rotfl2: ?

Psst, I think you need to tell your DH there are some people here that would like a word with him ;) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I can't believe how disappointed I am that you couldn't muster the guts to take a pic of your lunch. Tell your hubby thanks a lot!! :sad2: I LOVE Chinese  but I HATE broccoli and that is a lame presentation. ;)

Now, if you were eating right out of the shoes I'd have to give you a 10 just for the sheer sickness factor alone :rotfl2: . For the actual food I'd have to score it a 0. There's not 1 thing that's appealing to me - not even the M&Ms. However unlike T&B it's not all about me ;) , so overall you get a 7 :teeth: . Fine work my friend :rotfl: .

My own lunch consisted of a carton of yogurt eaten standing up and one of those Hershey dark chocolate sticks.

Hey!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Here I am skimming posts, trying to figure out where I left off this morning before leaving for the college parents day and I see this comment! :lmao: And I forgot to take a picture of my lunch, but my DD wanted to go to Olive Garden, so it wouldn't have been that impressive.

OK, back to reading. I have a lot to catch up between here and the PMS thread. Good thing there isn't anything good on tv! :rotfl:

You get an A for your comprehension skills :rotfl2: . How'd the visit go?

Ok, I have decided that after only 2 days, I am pretty much sick of putting together fancy schmancy presentations. The truth is I almost always eat my lunch on a tv tray while I watch a DVD.

What you're about to see IS on a tv tray, but the presentation is slightly different from my norm.

The cup on the left (your left) is holding another of my homemade soup recipes, creamy chicken mushroom. Pretty much the same recipe as the other day, only substitute more walmart rotisserie chicken and some sauteed mushrooms for the cauliflower and velveeta. The cup on the right (your right) holds slices of Vermont extra sharp white cheddar cheese. Today's soda is another diet tangerine. The mustard is salt and the ketchup is pepper. The M&Ms speak for themselves. Snicker is doing her Devil Dog impersonation. I brought along a friend to take care of any of you guys who have trouble with lunch in a pair of Crocs, truth, justice, or The American Way.

I don't have to know what's in anything, that there is or isn't a fruit or vegetable, or anything else. You get a 10 just for making me laugh out loud as loud as what I did when I saw that picture! :rotfl2:

Ok, my computer's been crazy, but I heard all about this thread, went back and read ALL 21 pages, and this meal just begs the question:

Does this mean your soup was made in a CROC-pot? :lmao:

:thumbsup2 :teeth: Good one!

Visit went great, but I forgot to take a picture of lunch until well after it was eaten (and I forgot the camera in the van). :guilty: It was Olive Garden, so you all could have figured that one out!

luvflorida, send your DH to this thread--I agree that some of us would like to have some words with him! :rolleyes1

Oh, your reading skills are obviously suffering, grasshopper. Please go back and research until you find the presence of the (fungal) veggie in my lunch.

(and thanks for the 10 :thumbsup2 )

Now see, that would have been interesting to see whether we really could have figured it out or not. Come on, people, step up to the plate here! Frankly, speaking for myself and probably Luvsflorida, we're getting a little tired of carrying the load for you bunch of whiney slackers! (and I'm glad your visit went well - we're taking my DD and her boyfriend out to dinner tonight.)

Uh, princess, take another look...I said I didn't need to read to see if there was or wasn't a fruit or vegie in your lunch because it didn't matter. You got the automatic 10 for making me laugh so hard! But now I'm deducting a 1/2 point for questioning me when I was being so generous because I'm not laughing anymore (and I have a migraine--don't mess with me when I have a migraine-rule #1). Now that you bring up mushrooms by name, I should deduct a whole point since I don't like them, and yes, this is all about me, but I'm still in a generous mood. :rotfl:

Gosh darnit :furious: ;) , I wish people would stop confusing those nasty fungus things :rotfl2: with honest to goodness healthy and delicious vegetables. Perfectly good food is ruined by their presence :teeth: .

I'm back with another picture!! I just took this pic of my lunch. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

I give it a 10 out of ten points. It's healthy: cheese, peanut butter, and crackers. It's festive: Mickey Mouse plate and holiday cupcake. It's satisfying: That's Pepsi, my favorite choice of beverage, in the Margaritaville cup.

And how was your lunch today? :teeth:

i give it a 10 because it is healthy like you said. love the cupcake.

Ok, you whiney slacker who can't be bothered to take a lousy photo of your lunch at Olive Garden for the sake of the team, here I am commenting on your comment. I hope your headache's better. What kind of a vegetarian doesn't like mushrooms? I mean really, what else is there?

p.s. lurve you, T&B

You still don't get it, do you? :sad2: It didn't matter what was in your cups, lady. You were still going to get a 10 based on the whole theme and the ability to make me guffaw. But now you're down to a 9 for attitude. You're not Tinkerbelle--you don't get away with the snarky attitude without paying a price.

Oh, just to clarify...the cups I'm talking about are the ones in the crocs, not your tata cups. :woohoo:
