Hi all

What the rarest characters you have seen at DLP

I have seen Scrooge Mcduck

Only once

Disney 08

I met scrooge Mcduck in 2006. Not sure If Prince John is rare but we met him too.

We saw Scrooge McDuck this Feb (with 3 of us seeing him, does he still count as rare? ;) ) and also Max (Goofy's son)

I think Max is rare :thumbsup2 I don't think I've read of anyone on here meeting him before.

I don't know how rare Jiminy Cricket is but I'd so love to meet him. Five trips so far and not a whisker :( OK, I know he doesn't have whiskers but you know what I mean!! :rotfl:

Last October at MNSSHP I was excited to meet Esmerelda and the guy with the big nose from Hunchback (can't remember his name:rolleyes:) I've never seen them before on any of our trips. We also saw Alice (not sure how rare she is but I can't remember seeing her before)

We met Alice, White Rabbit and Mad Hatter last summer, they all crept up behind dd (who was sat in her w/chair facing the opposite direction) and gave her a big group hug . it was great fun! this was in fantasyland just where you get crepes. then white rabbit ran off and alice went chasing after him :goodvibes

At the back of the castle in May, ye know where the shop is that seems to sell mostly princess dresses, there was a Lady somebody and her Lord??? i think Lady Eveline/Emeline or something like that??? She had one of these hats on her princess:there were a few little girls talking to her but everyone just wanted to see Aurora on the little stage thingy where the sword is. I've no photo sorry :confused3

we too met Scrooge McDuck in the Steakhouse for sunday brunch :thumbsup2, he signed his name something in french which confused ds no end :lmao:

I'd love to see Peter Pan or Wendy, or Mowgli, though maybe a loin cloth isn't appropriate for disneyland :rotfl: I also think it would be great if they could somehow make a Lightening Mcqueen and Mater, even for the stars n cars :thumbsup2 and a Mike Wosowski who moved :thumbsup2

not asking for much :confused3

:lmao:

The three rarest I've ever met at DLP are Clara Cluck, Launchpad(from Tailspin) and a dancing hippo (from fantasia)

I don't think I've met any rare ones :(
But I want to see Hercules! Or any sign of Hercules film in the parks other than his tiny wee statue in the studios *huff*
I don't want to be mean to Friar Tuck, King John etc but I think it's weird that with so many popular disney characters to choose from, you often see these ones that many of the kids dont even recognise. Friar Tuck was wandering around completely unnoticed while kids mobbed King Louis on our last trip.

Ah but thats all subjective isn't it - my DD absolutely loves Robin Hood, but hadn't even seen the Hercules movie once when we met Meg at DLP 2 years ago.

I think Meg is our most rare one, we've met Timon too, and Peter Pan and Wendy together, and I'd love to meet Cinderella's stepmother and ugly sisters :).

Yes I suppose you're right! I love Robin Hood too and felt very sorry for Friar Tuck last time, the little ones were giving him sideways glances. My sister and I got about 10 pics with him to keep him busy! lol.

we saw the ugly stepsisters in march. they were sitting on the wall just before you enter the park. we met anastasia the day before just as she was leaving but i asked for a quick photo and she couldnt have been more nice. the next day we went to meet the two of them and as soon as she saw ash she called her over. i think they were american as they were asking ash about her dress and saying thats how they recognized her. i would love to see them again. they were hilarious

We have seen Scrooge McDuck quite a few times at the HNY and DLH in the morning photo location spots so I don't really see him as rare. I haven't seen The White Rabbit since 2005 at DLP.

I see Scrooge quite a bit in the Studios front lot, also Daisy and Goofy there. The white rabbit was about last year both times we were at DLP, but we've only seen the back of Alice's head once in all the time we've been going :rotfl:

We met the big bad wolf & the 3 little pigs in Sept 04. We've also met the hippo from Fantasia at the meet & greet in the Disneyland Hotel a couple of years ago. Can't think of anyone else we have just seen the once.

Hi all

May not be Rare, but I have not seen Mary sitting on the ride like this much

I think rarity-wise, the only rare ones I've met are Roger Rabbit, Bonkers, Launchpad McQuack, Scrooge McDuck, Clara Cluck and Hyacinth the Hippo. Met a heap load of the villians though, Judge Claude Frollo, Cruella, Jafar etc... Esmerelda I seem to always bump into... I remember Daisy going through a spell at DLP where it was virtually impossible to meet her - but since the opening of WDS you can find her all the time (which is good!!).

Très jealous to the poster who has met Max though! Goof Troop was my favourite show growing up! Gaawsh!!!! hehe:rotfl:
