I realize that I have a bit of a twisted sense of humor but our traveling group will be three adults and two older teenages and I had planned on making "WDW Bingo" cards for our group as a joke. I think it will make the people watching more amusing. Who ever bingos first gets a silly prize like a Mickey bar.

I had plans to include items like "Toddler Meltdown" "Wearing a Bellyshirt but Shouldnt" "Mullet Alert" "She Didn't Leave the House in That" etc. This thread has given me some great additions to our list. "Celebrating the Future Hand in Hand Family" "A Daring Baring of Betty and Boop" "Shirtless and Shameless" "Whale Tail" "Main Street Mapreader" "Parade Poacher" "Pixel Police"

I am open to suggestions if you have more.

you can add: Girl in high heels. (great walking shoes!)

I may have to use that as the FREE space and look in the mirror.

I am going to add "Hapless Husband" to the list though in honor of the poor guy we ran into at DHS. We had four FPs for ToT and tried to give them away. We offered them to this poor guy as we were leaving and he turned to his wife, looking confused, and said "I don't know. Honey, Can I take these???"

we always seem to have major problems giving fast passes away! one time hubby just said "oh, never mind!" and proceeded to look for another couple!

I saw a couple looking very confused, staring at their map. we were in the United Kingdom. i asked if I could help. they said they heard there was an England section, but couldn't find it on the map!

Not sure what you are speaking of - the female body is a beautiful thing but who here thinks it should be "shown off"? I cannot recall any threads advocating a nudist Magic Kingdom.

However breasts on display for feeding are also beautiful and can be in public ... since it is the law. Young kids can know how babies are fed.

please don't turn this into yet another breast feeding thread. it wasn't even one of the OPs original points. another poster just "warned" not to mention it. (even said she didn't say which side she was on) but just "mentioning" not to "mention" it gets it started!

Here's one I always notice: if you're using the buses and it's standing room only, make like sardines to let more people on--especially if the bus driver is actually asking you to!

As someone who has regularly ridden crowded CTA buses, I know more people could fit on the WDW buses than actually do (and still be behind the yellow safety line). You've likely had people invading your personal space all day, what's 15 minutes more before you can finally get it back? I can only speak for myself, but I'd much rather squish on a bus at the end of the day and get off my feet that much sooner.

One head scratcher for me were the people wearing jeans....seriously...denim in 90 degree plus heat with humidity???

Yes! I don't get this at all! We were catching the double decker boat from the TTC to MK today. The boat took FOREVER (or so it seemed to us sweltering folk) to reach us. It was hot and there were a ton of people packed like rats. I don't think I've ever sweated so much, just miserable! I looked over and saw a group clad in blue jeans. I think it literally made me feel about 20 degrees hotter just to look at them! Blue jeans at Disney in the summer...just craziness to me!

Allthough I do understand previous posters medical necessity for staying covered...but I bet they find something lighter than blue jeans. The group of kids I saw today really just seemed to be wearing them for fashion reasons.

So what's the deal with entering MNNSHP?

The park closes at a certain time to prepare for it, then it reopens for people with the MNNSHP tickets, yet I read here you could get in earlier if you have your MNSSHP tickets.

I'm confused. And I'm pretty sure my wording confused you guys too haha....

Completely agree with #4...Parades! Always amazes me that people show up at the last minute to get a great spot but here's my other problem. Kids pulling on the rope while waiting or during the parade...and their parents letting them. We've been hit in the face with the rope and I've seen this happen to many strangers around me. A couple of weeks ago, we were waiting for MSEP and a little girl kept pulling down on the rope so I finally went over to her parents and asked very nicely if they could get her to stop because it was hitting lots of people in my area. The dad was apologetic and the mom looked at me like I just rained on their parade(no pun intended!) and was very irritated like just because it's Disney my kid can do whatever she wants.

My youngest daughter won't be found at Disney (hates costumed characters), but she spent her whole time at Sea World wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and long dark pants. She would rather wear long sleeves than sun screen, and generally wears dark colors and heavy fabrics, year round. Matter of fact, she went to church in a long-sleeved dark red velvet dress today (no we don't live in Australia). *sigh* The weird thing is, often as not she doesn't get as sweaty and hot as the rest of us, even though the rest of us are wearing short-sleeved shirts and shorts.

I think you can tastefully wear a cleavage shirt. However some don't exactly know how to do this. That's where the problem lies with me.

I'm more concerned with the really young girls in short shorts that look like boyshort underwear or low cut shirts. I mean at what age do you decide your daughter can show off all her goods? It seems to be quite young these days. I'm thankful for a boy that's for sure!

To be fair, boys have been able to show off all their goods for a lot longer than it was acceptable for girls too .

Ah ya from Maine. Not sure really why, but at least where I am in Texas, a good majority of people wear jeans everyday. They breath really well in my experience. There is a good reason that denim replaced most workclothes .

My sister will always be found in a pair of jeans, she is very modest and insecure about her body. She doesn't like her legs or arms, even though she is a beautiful woman! Sometimes before the real heat hits, you will usually find her in a hoodie or cardigan as well. She actually is more comfortable usually than the rest of us!

I guess my advice would be just practice a little extra kindness and compassion. I see so many people complaining about wheelchairs/ECV's/strollers etc...that they really let this things ruin their trip. I'm sure if the people in the wheelchair or ECV could trade places with you and walk/stand in line, they most certainly would. And I'm sure parents pushing a stroller would give anything to not have to lug that thing around all day/everyday. But what can they do, if they left their stroller at home, people would be complaining about whiny kids! It's a lose lose situation. So just be happy and worry about you and your family! If someone else is rude, thank your lucky stars you were raised better than that!

I usually get pretty irritated if I have to wait in a line, because I am a very impatient person who is obsessed with getting the most out of my time. This trip I have decided to just relax and enjoy the vacation. I promised myself that I would realize that even if we don't get to everything, that's just more excuse to come back to Disney again next year!!

actually, if you read through these messages.....MOST people did find it funny, at least most that took the time to post in this thread.

However, some people will find fault for most any thread posted on here as it just seems that some people want to take any post (no matter how innocent)and find something negative to say about it.

This really was all in good fun, and I think most people "got" the joke nature of the thread. I wasnt out to insult or offend anyone (be it map readers or well endowed girls --- I love you I really do!!) but to point out things that caught my attention and made me laugh or shake my head while at DW last week.

Did I say most people did not find it funny? No. I just noticed that SOME people did not find it funny and seemed to not "get it." I never said you out to insult anyone. I just was pointing out the fact that this is a trend. Somebody posts something, some people get it, some don't, and the difference of opinion gets a little heated at times.
My post wasn't to show biased to wither side, just pointing out my deja vu feeling about these "advice" "rules" "thoughts" ones. I was just curious if anybody else felt the same way I did. Apparantly not. Sorry.
