Raleigh NC to MCO

We were going to drive but yesterday on Delta got a fare from RDU to MCO for 3 people for $281.67. We are flying now. Just have to drive to Raleigh which is 2 hours. But 2 hours is better than 10 or 11.

Amtrak has a sale from Raleigh to Orlando or Kissimmee Stations for $27.30 cents each way as a special and that is the total nothing else. Kissimmee is closer to WDW.

We are flying from RDU to MCO in November. We are 3 hours away, but it is so much cheeper from RDU. We are flying SW--keeping my fingers crossed we get to sit together!!

We have a mid-morning flight so DIL's are driving us down the day before and we are going to try to meet up w/ some friends for dinner that night and then DIL's will take us to RDU in the morning.

That is a great price on the fare! We are traveling around Thanksgiving, so I am not holding out much hope for any DING's or sales.

Even though I have never flown Southwest (but will in two months- to MCO), I am SOOO glad they are in Raleigh...their fares help keep all the fares here far below other NC airports! Glad ya'll are taking advantage of the great fares, too!

We are flying with Southwest for our upcoming trip, I enroled on the Ding! program and got our tickets at aroun $88.00 per person, roundtrip!!
I'm so happy! more money to spend at WDW

Hey rlt I live in Winston/clemmons too! We are flying out of Greensboro on Oct 30th for $192 per person through delta

I guess there are lots of us in W-S! I thought flights out of GSO were too expensive. I think I'll start checking Raleigh..would be worth the drive sounds like. We're going for Halloween weekend!

My Sister is flying Southwest from RDU for $96.90 r/t in October.

RDU to MCO (ROUND TRIP)Oct 30-Nov 3 is just under $100 per person(just checked!) on Southwest and is $116 per person on Delta...great fares still available even if they have bumped up a little bit this week in most cases. Anything under $150 per person round trip from RDU is historically a pretty good deal, much below that, it's a FABULOUS deal! Parking is easy at the airport and it is on the Greensboro side of Raleigh so certainly worth checking flights from RDU if you live in or near Greensboro or WS. Happy flying to all!
