Here is my question to you: Does anyone have any idea WHAT this back thing is? Here are the symptoms: Every night (EVERY NIGHT) after just a few hours of sleep, I wake up (doesn't matter what position) in severe low back/right side of pelvis PAIN. So much that I can't move by myself. I usually flip an arm over onto my husband and ask him to help me move as I groan and yell. I have tried pillows, right side, left side, back... it doesn't matter. I wake up in pain at least 5 times or more each night and then roll out of bed between 5 and 6am just to get rid of the pain. It goes away almost immediately upon moving.
I've tried 3 aleve (660mg) AND 1000mg of Tylenol PM together! I slept too hard and woke up screaming! Also got a cramp in my foot that went up the top of my foot (which is weird). The Aleve seems to help my neck and wrists/thumbs, but not my back pain at night.
I am so sick of waking up in pain every single night. I am starting to hate going to sleep just knowing it will be painful in a few hours.
Does anyone know WHAT this could be? If I could take a marker and circle the area of pain, it would be just on the right side of my lower back, and it gets so bad I can barely move my right leg to get rid of it! It definitely isn't equal on both sides, more on the right side of my spine.
Anyone have any ideas?
I'm running out of OTC drugs (and already ate through the Naproxen). If they worked, I wouldn't mind.
