Quickest route from MCO to OKW

We will have rental van and usually the people tell me to go way S. and around to the west to get to WDW. Yet I know there is more direct way that we have taken with ME.

I have my sunpass and am not worried about tolls. What is the shortest, quickest way to OKW?

South exit out of the airport to 417. Go through 2 tolls, take exit 6 (right after the second tollbooth). Keep going straight, take 3rd exit after the WDW arch, go straight at the light, right turn into OKW.

You could take the north exit, that takes you to 528 west and then you could get on I-4. I've done both but found that way has much more traffic. 417 is a nice easy drive.

The OP has asked for the shortest, quickest way to OKW but shortest doesn't always equate to quickest. I suspect that most of us have tried both and found that the South>417 route is faster than North>528>I4 route, even though the latter is about 1.5 miles shorter.

I have done the 417 S and at 2 pm it will be fine. I kinda know of the Publix along the way. When I see the exit I will know and then check in at OKW. Just 3 days to go and thanks to the this board we are set to go.
