Quick Redundant Question But I Can't Find the Answer

So we weren't even planning a trip but I just got a pin code 20/30/40 and I read about the GC on Disney site. Can I use the pin code AND get the GC also? And can the GC be used for tips? I went to the GC website but never saw it.
Thanks and sorry for asking again I did read about 4 pages back and never found it.

I read somewhere on here that used both the pin number they got and the gc special that they have out together. I just went back to try and find that post and i couldn't remember where i read it. I think it is going to be up to who ever you talk to when you call in for your reservation. I use a travel agent from small world vacation and they are really good about getting you the best deal that they can get. i would talk to one of them and see if they can help, i have used them for a few years now and they are great at helping you out. please post on here again if you get it to work.. We are looking to do the same if it works.

I was always under the impression that you can only use one discount or deal, so I kind of doubt you can.

I think the new discount out now is better, at least for me.

You can not combine discounts. It is one or the other. For us, our pin code was better than the gift card.

I believe it is one of the other on one reservation. However, if you are staying for more than 5 nights and willing to split the reservation, then you can take advantage of both promotions. For us, we are doing first 5 nights at rack rate package and getting the gift card under the gift card promotion (reservation #1) and then the last two nights under a room only reservation taking advantage of the % off general public room deal (reservation #2). I've seen mention of using both discounts with a split stay a couple times over the last couple weeks, maybe that is what you read?

Worked for us. Kept our same existing trip itinerary/dining reservations and saved more $! We will upgrade our tix from the gift card package from 5 to 7 days while there and use them for our whole trip. We are using our gift card to cover ddp tips during first 5 days, out of pocket dining last day and a half, remaining balance on room only reservation, and tix upgrade.
