I was told that the only place to purchase single day park passes is at the gate, is this true? What about Disney Resorts, or the Disney Store at the mall? Any way to pre-purchase so we don't have to stand in line?

As far as I know they are only available at the gate. I haven't seen them offered on any of the internet ticket sites either.

We just went last week and I found this to also be true as I looked for a special rate too. One tip though is, if you plan to buy 1day 1park tickets for 2 days (which is what DH and I did--MK one day and MGM another) buy the 2nd day at the window at the same time you purchase the 1st day. You save $5 per ticket but $5 is $5 (or $10 total for us)!

Single day park tickets as well as 2 day/2 park and 3 day/3 park tickets are also available at the Guest Services window at a Disney Resort, at any Guest Relations window at a major park or at either of the two GR offices at DTD.
