Quick points question multiple contracts

Morning all --

We own points at 2 resorts and are shy a handful of points for the last day required without either borrowing points from the next year or using points from our other contract.

Can a villa be booked for a night using a combination of points from two resorts (at 7 mos of course) or does a night's stay need to be comprised of points only from one contract? Hope my question makes sense!

ie: Villa costs 26 points can we use 15 Aulani points and 11 BLT points to book that?

I'm certain the answer is obvious but I'm having one of those mornings.

As long as those two contracts have the same use year you are fine. If they have different use years I believe you will have to transfer points from one contract to the other.

Ahh yes use year, I knew I missed some detail in my OP --- yes they are both Feb use year.

Can anybody confirm we can combine the points?

We have seven contracts, I do it all the time. Yes, you can combine the points.

You can def. do what you want to do, I am not sure if its just combine, or if you have to transfer.

Another option is the one time points. If you are someone who is always wishing they had more points then they do, you can do that. If you have more than enough points, go with option 1.

As long as the use years are the same transferring is not necessary.

If both contracts are under the same membership the points are simply combined for use 7 months out (or 11 months out if both contracts are for the same resort). Transfers are done between separate memberships. Since the OP's contracts are under the same membership, the points can be combined.

When you go online to book it will show you the options of the contracts that you can use points from. Just place checks next to both and the system will use the current (or banked) points first. (This assumes both contracts are under the same master contract).

I just double checked the contracts and yes they are numbered
123456 & 123456.1 so the same master contract. Thanks all for clarifying I can combine the points for the night.I know I can simply borrow but I'd rather just snag points from the same year and combine so I'll be clean out of Aulani using my banked 2013 & all my 2014 plus a few BLT points.

I added the extra nights I needed to my Aulani vacation this morning at 7 mos as I didn't want to borrow any 2015 Aulani points but instead use some of my 2014 BLT points.

I was able to combine no problem, I used 8 Aulani points plus whatever BLT points I required to book the extra nights I wanted at Aulani.

Just wanted to give a head's up to confirm what happened.
