I saw the new personal die cut system at the GASC. It's amazing! To really get a good system would probably be $400 which is a LOT! But it was so easy to use and people were falling all over themselves to buy it. Maybe for Christmas...

What does everyone else use? I can't trace and cut very well.

I either print out my titles on the reverse of the paper and cut them out - which is ok for chunky titles, but not for anything too fancy.

Or I have a coluzzle template which lets you cut out letters using a swivel knife - this is pretty easy, but the range of templates is limited.

Or I use letter stickers.

I would love a QuicKuts - I was tempted by the Marissa starter set which is about $250 - I think it compares pretty well with the Sissix in price -

When I was in Orlando recently I spent a ton of money at various LSS's - over $400 - I kinda wish I hadn't bought all that paper/stickers etc etc and had just invested in a QuicKutz instead.

Bev,

I agree with you! We all know how quickly $400 can go doing one sticker here and one sticker there.

I think the starter set is just $199. What I liked is that it wasn't heavy(like the sizzix) and they have a cool storage system that's like a 5X7 three ring binder. I don't know where I would put all of the sizzix die cuts!

I wish my friends and I could get together and invest in a couple of alphabets. I'm not sure how long it would take us to each have $200 to spend at once! but it would be neat. I guess it's more likely that we would all have $40 to spend at once and we could share one alphabet.

We have stopped going to crops to save the cropping fee. My husband's office was getting new furniture and was going to throw away perfectly good scrapping tables. My friend took two trips 45 min. each way to save them so we can all work comfortably together. what a great friend!

I gotta agree this lettering system looks awesome. I don't think I'll ever buy it though. I would be afraid if I spent that much money on one thing I would end up changing my scrapping style and quit using titles or something.
