Questions about ordering MYW tickets from UT

I am ready to order MYW tickets from Undercover Tourist but I have some questions before I do that. My 60-day mark for FP+ is this Saturday (5 days away). I want to order mailed tickets rather than electronic. They would not arrive until next week. Will I be able to get a number or code from Undercover Tourist to link the tickets to our magic bands prior to receiving the tickets? Will I be able to practice for the next couple of days using the ticket number and using a dummy arrival date 30 days out?

Would ordering electronic tickets be a better option in order to be able to practice before Saturday, or for that matter, to be able to get FP+on Saturday? I'm hoping to get some advice from those of you who have done this before.

TIA

Why do you want mailed tickets? If you are staying onsite and will have magic bands, there is no reason to use hard tickets.

Remember, you aren't linking tickets to magic bands, you are linking them to your MyDisneyExperience account. It's the account info that the magic band accesses.

Sorry, I can't answer the ticket code question because I haven't used UT.

1. Is there any particular reason? I can't really think of a good one.
2. Correct, assuming there isn't a delay in shipping.
3. I think so, but I'm not sure how long it takes.
4. Yes, assuming you get them in time
5. Yes.
6. Yes.

I guess it's electronic then! If I order them tonight, will I have the info I need to be able to practice tomorrow night? I was also wondering why they ask for an arrival date if I'm ordering electronic tickets. I suppose I wouldn't have to give them the actual date. I just don't want to lose out on being able to practice before Saturday gets here. I guess I'm being a worry wart :tilt:

Even if you already had the tickets in hand and linked to your MDE account, how are you going to be able to "practice" before your 60 day mark? If it's more than 60 days ahead, you can't go into the FP+ part of your MDE account and make FP+ resies just to see how it works.

The OP could practice by booking FP+ on any date that was closer than 30 days from today's date.
The same as would be possible for a guest who was not staying at a WDW resort.

The WDW Resort stay just "unlocks" the ability to book 60 days (+) from check-in date.

So when I link it to my MDE account, does it automatically link to my resort reservation dates? What if I were going in mid-May and staying off site? Could I get FP+'s for that visit using this ticket and later get another park ticket for the my trip at the end of June when I will be staying onsite?

1. Well, your resort reservations ARE linked to your MDE account.
But, your tickets won't "become a Resort Package" just because they are also in your MDE account.

2. Yes. Booking "three FP+ per day" is the limit, not the number of days.
Using an Annual Pass does have a seven day FP+ limit if not associated with a longer WDW Resort stay.

Sorry I goofed. Thanks, Robo. What I meant to say is .... when I link my ticket to my MDE account, does it automatically link to my resort reservation dates? I think you answered my question though. I will be able to practice getting 3 fast passes within 30 days, and then cancel them before Saturday, right?

Now that I look at that rely (in STEREO) ;) I'm trying
