Questions About Aldi products.

I work with a man whose wife is from Italy and she says that Aldi is the largest food chain in Italy.

I love the Lacura Foundation makeup! It's made in Germany and it's smooth and creamy and lasts all day for around $3

Most things I've purchased from Aldi are fine...I agree with pp about the yogurt...I also won't buy french vanilla coffee creamer, ground beef, or the chicken cutlets. However, I really do love the breaded frozen fish and graham crackers and cereal/oatmeal, and bread products, as well as frozen pizzas, individual chicken cordon bleu, and asian eggrolls (frozen).

The way my family eats, they don't notice the taste of most things anyway!

i love aldi! we usually get milk, spices and chips there each week. their produce is really good...actually, the only thing we've gotten at aldi that we didn't like was the pop tarts. as you know, pop tarts come in a box of 8 or 10, with 2 pop tarts to each foil pack. well, the aldi pop tarts were all stuck to each other in their individual foil packs, so when i tried to pull them apart, they came all to pieces! that's the only thing that's been a bust for us. LOVE their packs of bottled water-28 bottles for $2.79!

I am in the minority here but the store brand items did not work out for our family (I REALLY wanted them too!). Aldi is great for produce and staples like milk and eggs. It is the one place I can make it through with four kids and no impulse buys!

I don't like Aldi at all. There is only one cashier and people buy huge carts full so there is always a long wait. I buy only a few things there so it isn't worth it to me. I found a stone in yogurt once and will no longer buy that brand there. The produce at ours is alway ify and usually spoils fast.

I am glad to see this thread, because we have an Aldi's opening 1 miles from me next week. I have never been to one, but will certainly check it out when it opens!
