Question on the Mousefest Event

I keep bouncing from here looking for a list and my email (we booked the Swan through Dreams) looking for a sign up email. I assume the Swan counts as "booking through Dreams"?

Ugh! I'm in the panic club, I've been refreshing the show notes page often, all day ! We are booked with DU but this does sound too cool not to freak...just a bit !

Here's some info to help some of you who are freaking out....

We will post on this board when the sign-up sheet will be available. It will not be available for at least a few days (maybe not until early next week) as we need to get the DU clients notified and registered first.

Stop panicking.

Second, yes - if you booked through DreamsRES that is considered a Dreams Unlimited Travel booking and you will be able to sign up first.

Dreams Unlimited Travel clients will receive an email about this and will be able to reply to that email in order to sign-up. They will not have to go through the form - we will add you to the list as you confirm with us in email.

According to the events coordinator at Disney DHS closes at 8PM that night (EMH are morning hours so this doesn't interfere with our event). You will need to be in DHS before the park closes. Once the park closes and the turnstiles are turned off you will not be able to get in the park and you will not be able to get to the event. Sorry - that's just how it is.

Once in the park you can go to Osborne lights and then make your way to event but no one will be permitted in the event area until Disney has finished their set-up for the event.

You do not need to sign-up for Mousefest to attend our event but....the reason we are doing this is to participate in the Mousefest event itself and show our support for the community at large.

If you plan on attending our event I strongly encourage you to sign-up for Mousefest.

The team will be participating in the Mega Mouse Meet and some of us may be attending other events as well.

Please, show your support for Mousefest and sign-up.

I'm sooooo excited about this event! For once, I will be in WDW when something is happening! I believe I can even keep my 5:30pm ADR at Narcoosee's on Dec 13 and still make it! I have even registered for MouseFest 2008. I can't wait to be a part of these gatherings!

Now, I just have to get on "The List" since I am a DVC member and didn't go through Dreams Unlimited. Now I'm just waitin' my turn...........

Thanks for the additional info Kevin. I was freakin out today in Universal Studios. I kept telling my Wife Kim, "I wonder if they've posted the sign-up sheet?" I think I was driving her crazy, as well as myself.

One question. If we have a reservation with Dreams; specifically the podcast cruise, does that qualify us as Dreams customers. Would this make us eligable to be the first to sign-up for the Mousefest event? I believe the answer is no, but I thought I would ask just in case.
