You need to be on a computer (can't do it through the App or TV), but when you go to YouTube TV on your computer, it's under 'Settings'. The offer is under there. I just found it - thanks for the heads up.

I prefer YouTube Premium. $15 a month. Best thing about it is no commercials. Why pay far more for YouTube TV and then get forced to watch commercials?

I think YouTube Premium is different from YouTube TV. YouTube TV is an alternative option instead of broadcast TV and live cable TV channels. I switched from Spectrum Cable to YouTube TV and get almost all the cable stations I watch.

Isn't YouTube Premium basically just watching YouTube uploaded videos from viewers without commercials? And some on-demand movies? And I think they have some music channels that are included now. But, no live broadcast or live cable channels?

YouTube owns both YouTube Premium and YouTube TV. (And both are owned by Google's head company.) Why would they offer both, and at a significantly different price points if people are getting basically the same thing?

It is there, you just have to dig for it. Look at your account details and the plan, that is where I found it.

The bottom line is who are you to dictate how someone watches the entertainment they want to watch, when they want to to watch it? Every time streaming comes up, you tell people they should give up their streaming/cable package in order to watch how YOU want to watch, even if the shows they want to watch aren't available.

I don’t watch anything live but I do record thousands of shows and movies so I can stream them when I want as you suggest. Thousands of shows and movies that don’t exist on YouTube.

I was so happy when Verizon put in fiber optic around here and I could switch to Fios for $55 a month and YouTubeTV instead of the outrageously expensive and not very reliable Xfinity we had before for internet and cable. I like live local news and all the other channels I have access to.

If you have to pick a non sports linear channel… of course Disney takes the cake…

When I said live broadcast TV channels and live cable channels that doesn't necessarily mean I sit and watch them all live as they air. I DVR them and watch them later when I want. I'm binge watching the most recent 4 episodes of a series now. These are all NEW TV shows and movies premiering live every week. Not on-demand movies that were out 15-20 years ago, which is why they are available for $15 versus $83.
