Question on Free Dining Deal

I have a question on the free dining deal.

Do you only get that if you book the hotel/ticket combo? Or, can you get it if you book just the hotel?

We have disney tickets already, just curious how the deal works.

You have to purchase a "Magic Your Way" package, which includes the room and at least a 1-day base park ticket per person. So even though you already have tickets, you will have to buy a 1-day ticket for each person in your party in order to get free dining.

Yep - you could do it and only have to add on a 1 day pass per person. Plus if you have a discount on the hotel that could affect it. It was still a good deal for us to pay Rack Rate and get free dining instead of getting 40% off.

Ah, I see - so even if our hotel reservation is for a week, we only have to buy 1 disney ticket per person?

That's great news, I didnt know that.

On a completely unrelated topic, does anyone know if buying the "magic your way" deal in such a way makes you eligible for the 6 months no interest on the disney credit card? I assume the CC doesnt care how many (edit) tickets you buy, just that the transaction is listed as "magic your way" - but I may be wrong...

Any trip booked on your Disney Visa will get you the 6 months. We have done it for years now. I usually divide my balance by 6 and pay it off a little each month. Just make sure you make your payment a little earlier to make sure there is no question about when it is posted to your account.
