Do you like them for use in the parks? I'm considering them for 4 & 6 year olds for heavy use for 1 year (annual pass). Might consider it for use at 'other than MK' parks where I don't plan on using monorail if its size gets in the way. Don't plan on using disney buses much. They weigh too much for umbrellas and I don't want to rent. I'm mostly interested in which type to get of if there is another brand I should consider. The Instep, Schwinn and Safetech double strollers I am most interested in seem to be out of stock from suppliers including ebay. Thanks for any input/advice you might have. I can't find them locally to test drive so will rely on input from others! Thanks again.

I've test driven all of them. They become difficult to push/steer as you near the weight limit of 100 lbs. so I would say if your children's combined weight are in the 80-100 pound range it will be more trouble than it's worth. Also, my 4 year old is tall for her age and she's not comfortable in the seats, I imagine this would be even more of an issue for an older child.

There are serious supply issues with these strollers but our burlington coat factory baby depot seems to have no problem ordering them within 4 weeks, if you have one near you, check them out. Also, burlington keeps the single versions in stock on the Insteps, take your kids to test out the fit, the seats are the same size as on the doubles.

I purchased one of these for the exact same reasons. I have an almost 5 and 2.5 year old. Combined weight of about 70 lbs. I find them very easy to push. The reason I went with this (Schwinn) stroller was because of the swivel wheel. I figured it would be worth its weight in gold in the parks. Now if I can just find a travel bag to protect while flying!!!

Anyway, we will probably only occasionally use this stroller away from the world but I still thought it was a better chioce than renting. We did that last year....to the tune of $100.00.

Just FYI A babies best friend does now have a double jogger for rent for 1 week for 65 or 75 I think, but it does not have the swivel front wheel. Which is why we bought this stroller.

Hope this helps!!

Kayla
