As a direct member does this bother you or the more the merrier?

Same we will miss it. Going end of August early Sept
I wasn't going to activate my pass until September but now I may just for this, I love limited, unique experiences like this. I want to hear some feedback first, not waiting hours in the heat to get out of the heat 🤣🤣

You almost had me. I was starting to regret my decision not to activate an annual pass voucher this year. 😂
But, our next visit is not until July 14th - so we would miss it anyway.

Beautiful photos.
Access to lounges is one reason I would want to go direct in the future so I'm definetely interested in this, meaning i like lounges, not that one has to do with the other

I used the AP lounge once in June last year before I bought DVC direct. The lounge was crowded, the line to meet Genie was super long, but I got a free button and a Diet Coke. I had 0 place to sit so I left after about 5 minutes. I was much more comfortable in the DVC lounge in Epcot.

I've never been to that restaurant so I am intrigued as well, love how I see a drink that has a nod to the Morrocan culture in the pics
It was a beautiful restaurant. We loved the food & service was impeccable. What a great loss...The entire Moroccan Pavillion was spectacular.

Why did they close it?? Sad I will never get to experience it, didn't even know it was closed 😪

I love this but its because this is signals that Disney is hurting and needing to stop the endless stream of reducing benefits and increasing costs.

Separately it would be nice they actually did something with the area instead of a lounge but it is what it is.

I agree. The DVC lounges are nothing to write home about. If we need a quick break in the air and there is no wait we will go in. Otherwise, on with our day. We don’t perceive this as a perk at all. We also have AP’s and I don’t see the value there either.
My kids make me go to Epcot just to sit in that lounge. I really don’t understand why. It’s every year. They are 12/15 now

It's the exact same set up as the Florida Blue Cross lounge that was open there during F&W. It was open to anyone as long as you registered. Again, it's not the same as the DVC Lounge above the Imagination pavilion which is restricted to blue card DVC members.
We stopped in this lounge twice. It basically let anybody in, as long as you went to the website and got the QR code. I remember it had free henna artist for a few hours each day.

What I really like about these AP perks is the 40% off dining. We regularly visit most of these places regardless, so it feels more like a true perk than if it was mostly just places we’d need to go out of our way.
