My lovely lab mix (18 months old), who NEVER has chewed any of my furniture decided to give it a try 2 weeks ago. I have a dining room hutch has embellishments that look like a herringbone braid - matches the top of the chairback. I recently had a party and swiped it with a pledge furniture wipe (lemon scented) which I think she was attracted to. She chewed a significat chunk off of this embellishment. It's approx 8" long and maybe 3" wide and curved.
What is the best way to repair? Is there a source of laminates that I can choose something that closely matches? My husband is handy with tools and he can probably patch/repair, but would like to know if we can match something like this.
