Question about reservation process

I booked a package for November. In May I will book dining reservations. However, in July we find out if my in-laws are renting a condo in Florida in May. If they do we will stay there with him. If I cancel my package what happens to my dining reservations?

Nothing. Dining reservations are not dependant on hotel reservations

So, if you have a reservation at a WDW resort and make your ADRs 180 days from the beginning of your stay, and then have to, say, cancel your first night, nothing will happen to the ADRs? Is that correct?

The dining reservations have nothing to do with other reservations. I've made reservations before without staying st a resort.
