Question About Pop

WE ARE STAYING AT THE POP IN NOV. EVERYONE KEEPS POSTING ABOUT THE POSSIBLE LONG WALK FROM YOUR ROOM TO THE FOOD COURT, BUSES, ETC. JUST HOW LONG IS THE WALK?

I STAYED AT THE ASMOVIES IN THE MIGHTY DUCKS PART AND THOUGH THERE WAS A WALK TO THE MAIN BUILDING IT WASN'T THAT BAD, KINDA ENJOYABLE ACTUALLY. IS THE POP THE SAME OR IS IT LONGER?

I stayed at Pop in Feb. and was in the farthest building (with the computer pool and cell phone staircases) - it was at least a 5 minute walk from that building to the food courts - I even started taking a short cut through the parking lots! This seemed to be about twice the length of any walk at the All Stars - It only bothered me when I checked in late at night (around 11 pm) and had to drag my luggage to the building (along with golf clubs!!!).

If you walk through the buildings and along the lake, it was very pleasant (as long as you are not tired from a day at the parks).

I liked Pop enough to stay there for a quick trip the end of this month. However, I would not choose the resort as my frist choice in the future (got a good AP rate for this month) - would rather stay at a smaller resort (such as All Stars or one of the moderates).

I've never stayed at the All Stars, so can't compare to that, but I did not think the walk was bad at all. We were in the 70s building, not too far from the main building, but even in the 80s or 90s it wouldn't have been too bad. Maybe some people are used to staying in a very compact resort, such as POFQ or WL, and Pop would seem spread out compared to that.

Hi,

The first day it seemed that we did more walking at Pop but after we became familiar with the Resort and learned the short cuts...No problem...we stayed in the 80 building and where very close to the Bus Stop...Last November we stayed over at AllStar Sports we did way more walking to that room...but we where only there one night.
