question about points and the cruise

Can I use my points to pay a portion of the cruise and the rest cash???? Also, can you make a reservation for the cruise as soon as points become available in your use year? Thanks

Hi Michelle - we have not used our points for a cruise (yet) but my understanding from looking in the guidebook is that you can make reservations for the Disney cruise 11 months prior to departure. I also have read on these boards that you can use a combination of points and cash.

Good luck - we just returned from the 4 day cruise and it was great. I am sure a cruise on points is in our future.

I have done what you described for a past cruise and paid by points for the first person in the cabin and cash for the rest. That's all you need to do.
