We did one on the Wonder this past October. The drinks were pre-made, but then a few people got to get up and make the drinks. By the end, there were about 6 people making the big drinks. So much fun. So much tilting afterwards. It was the sea I tell you, the sea! I think it may depend on the group you go with. If everyone is there to have fun, the bartender may feed off of this and allow it. Versus a quieter group, the bartender may just go with what he/she had planned to begin with. We have been to tequila tastings where we were all given a few extra shots to try. That was funny. We also had a cognac tasting where we had some very knowledgeable folks in the group, so the bartender extended the offerings and I was able to try some fancy cognac. Then, we have been to just the standard tastings. It all depends. Still think these are worth the price for what you get, but that is my opinion.
