Question about Discovery cove

We are coming into Orlando in April for 9 nights, staying at the Renaissance-Seaworld for 3 nights and Embassy Suites-Kissimmee for 6 nights. We have never been to discovery cove before, we are doing the day WITHOUT the dolphin swim. It seems that dc closes at 5pm. I know food is included with the day, does anyone know what time food is served until? Is it possible to eat an early dinner at 4pm? We are going to spend the rest of our time at seaworld and acquatica. I will miss you disney. My family thinks I'm nuts because I want to go back to disney even though we visited this past Sept.

The restaurant (which serves breakfast and lunch) closes at 3 pm, if I remember correctly. From 3 pm to close, you can get snacks (including soft pretzels) from the multitude of snack locations but no hot food.

We have done DC both with and without the dolphin swim, and had a blast each time. We have enjoyed our non-Disney trips as much (or more) as our Disney-only vacation. Have a great time .

Thanks so much. I should of asked, what kinds of foods do they serve at dc? Is there any pizza? My son is picky but eats pizza with no problem.

Hmmmmmmm.......let's see what I can remember......

They had burgers, french fries, pulled pork, mac and cheese, chicken strips (they were FABULOUS!), a variety of sandwiches and wraps, salads, asian chicken, jambalaya, fruit cups, assorted cakes (chocolate fudge, carrot, etc.). No pizza that I can remember.

For breakfast they had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, homefried potatoes, cereal, fresh fruit, french toast sticks (my favourite!!), yogurt, muffins, and pastries.

There was probably even more (the selection really is excellent) but that's what I can recall off the top of my head.
