Question about CRT ADR

We have an 8:40 am reservation for CRT... If we arrive at 8:00, will we be allowed in 40 minutes early so that we can enjoy the walk down to the castle? Is there a special entrance/line at MK for people who have early ADRs? We'll probably just take a cab from our hotel to make things easy that morning. Being able to enter MK before the gates open sounds like an exciting perk, and I want to take adavantage of it.

You won't have a problem entering @ 8 AM eventhough your ressie is at 8:40. It seems like whenever we have early ressie an CRT or CP we never allow time for a photo op. Good planning ahead. There will be a bunch of people entering the park at that time, so no special entrance but they might not have all the aisles unlocked to enter. Follow the crowd and have your reservation number with you if they ask for it.

When we've had breakfast reservations that was before park opening, we've always entered through a special section. We've always gone in June when it's really busy and there's lots of people milling around, so I'm not sure if that's why they have a designated area to enter the park other than the regular turnstiles. There's always been a CM letting those who have a breakfast reservtion into the park on the far right of the MK entrance. You'll easily be able to find a CM and they can direct you if you're not sure where to go. I've heard that technically they don't let you in until 15 min. before your reservation time. Once we were checked about the time and held just until the 15 min. mark, and once we weren't (we were only 20-25 min. early that time anyway).
It is neat to walk through the park when it's calm and quiet. Great time to take photos. They'll even have a photopass photographer already out on Main Street. Have fun!
