Hi all,

It's been a long time since I've been here and yet when I had a question, I immediately thought of you all. Lots of things have gone on in my life and I took a big break from scrapping and learned to knit in the meantime.

Anyway, I want to cover the large chipboard letters for a friend's baby shower and I'm not sure how to do it. Would you do it like you were decopauging something with Mod podge? What about the edges, paint?

Of course, I'm a procrastinator so I need to do these tonight, along with finishing her scrapbook, as the shower is Saturday and I'm giving it.

Please Help!

Cathy

Hey Stranger!!!!!

Depending on the size of the letters.. I would try to wrap the letters around the sides and then add a cover paper for the back to cover the wrap around... Otherwise I would definitely paint the sides of the letters and cover the front.. I would probably decopage it to keep it from fading...but I really don't think it needs to be decopaged.

Good luck with the project!!!!

I like to add glitter to the edge if possible - just alittle shine
where are they going?? will the back be seen?? if not, do whatever you can the quickest

Thanks for the advice PN96 & Reddy. They may or may not be ready for the shower tomorrow. Like the idea of some glitter and that would be easy. I did try to overlap the paper over the edges and I must not be patient enough.

If I don't finish them, they can just be a baby gift!
