Last June I booked 3 tickets to MCO for our trip in October of 2009. We flew down to Orlando but could not fly back home b/c our DD contracted H1N1 so we had to cancel our return flight and drive our rental home. We have a $346.00 credit that is going to expire tomorrow, 6/23 unless I book another flight by tomorrow and fly by tomorrow. I just called SW and the gentleman told me that I would need to call back on 6/24 and have this credit extended and it would be $50.
I thought it was $50 per ticket? If that's the case then they will take $150.00, right? I read another post on here where someone said that a very nice SW rep "suggested" that they book a solo flight before the credit end date and then cancel that one and the year would start over again. Is this true? Has anyone ever done this?
I'm so confused! I really don't want to lose $346.00 worth of credits that's for sure. If anyone can help me please do!! TIA!
