Whew!!! I finally caught up!!!!!!!
And you know me... I have to comment on things. So those of you that have some wisdom will just want to skip this post, I'm sure.
Of course, it all depends on the mood in which it was said, like everything else, right?
Yeah... and you never did take it back! LOL

Couldn't have anything to do with your lazy butts staying in the room until 10'something, could it?
/me ducking and running
I think you hit the nail on the head there. Not only is it his first time but he's old enough to appreciate the detail and things like the free busses that are so organized and get you everywhere but being his first time he also let that feed into his appreciation of the magic. I could tell just by talking to him that there's another life-long Disney convert here.
Now that's the queen I know and love!!!!
Ahhhhhh... you've surely raised that girl right!!!
Amen there!! The one at my house that gives me the most trouble is the 50 year old.
It's the golden rule... you have the gold that paid for the trip so they just have to shut up, smile and look at the camera! (I'm such a mean person sometimes... okay, most of the time).
You know... with as smart as those kids are that's quite likely by design.
LOL LOL LOL... that girl's so stinkin' cute!!!!!
BTW... thanks for all the ToT pictures. I've been too much of a chicken to get on it. I don't like being scared and I have a blood pressure thing so I just have never thought that all the anticipation leading up to the big drop(s) was such a good idea medically. At least that's what I tell the kids when they beg me to go on it. One of these days I'll screw up the courage. Or maybe I'll just bit the bullet, grab some liquid fortification and hit the tower!
You're slipping, you know....
What do you mean "like he's a real person"???? Whatchu talking 'bout, Willis?
Yeah, and then the rest of us have to put up with these self absorbed little brats as they grow up. Heaven forbid that we do something to harm their precious self-esteem!!!!
Sorry... I shouldn't be so rotten. Never know what's going on and maybe the little girl has some condition that we know nothing about. It's just a personal pet peeve of mine. Now I know I'm the marshmallow mom, but I tell you what... my boys better act right in public or they'll hear about it!!!!! Of course, now that they're older there are more shades of grey in their lives and behaviors but they know the bottom line rule is that your right to swing your arm stops at the tip of my nose.
Sorry... I guess I've gone off on a tangent. Just a personal pet peeve of mine these days ;-)
Would love to hear some of the kids' ideas on how to handle the situation. I have to admit that one of the funniest things in the world is listening to someone that doesn't have kids give advice on parenting. But knowing these two kids, their advice probably was pretty good.
There's something to be said here about God looking after children and.... oh, something.
Oh too cute!!!!! Love him in the rasta hat!!!!!
Great pics he took. Very sweet of him taking the panda picture for MM. That boy's quite a young man!!
This is just tooooooo hilarious!!!!
LOL LOL LOL at the bug picture!!! I don't know what kind of face I'd make if someone told me to look like a bug. LOL
Yep, it was you!
There's no way you could have been happier than me! I had SUCH a wonderful time!!!!! The only reason I left as early as I did was because of having to go to work the next morning. But maybe next time you're down I'll have tix and we can close down a park together!!!! I had so much fun catching up with you and you're right, it did feel like we'd known each other forever!!!!!!!!!!
Now you know you shouldn't lie like that. Definitely not kind... at least I try not to be. Interesting? Maybe... like a train wreck or something. LOL.. <I'm blushing by the way>
My Southern accent? LOL LOL Lemme let you meet my sister sometime. She still lives in SC and boy, oh, boy! Compared to her, my accent is just a dog that won't hunt!
LOL LOL!!!! A bit fuzzy, but then again, I think I might have been a bit fuzzy too, so that's probably what caused it.
Quite nicely done! Hey, maybe if I try, I can get the whole board talking right, huh?
I can just see you doing that with Peg too!!!! LOL LOL LOL And after you've had grits and hushpuppies, you might just want to plan on moving down here!
If you take that girl drinking around World Showcase, you gotta let me know. I definitely would like to partake of that with you!!!! Boy, I think y'all are fun and funny now? That could be just soooo cool!!!
That's what I've told the EMs I'll give them for their 21st if they like. Should be fun!
Ruh roh... I should probably be scared shouldn't I? See that's what happens... people always seem to remember me much more than I remember them and I guess the reason is that I show my butt just a bit too much.
Tell him to remember to take everything with a grain of salt.
Love that pic of them entering Adventureland!!!! Just perfectly framed and colors and everything!!!!
Great shots of Agrabah too!!!
You realize, of course, that you just gave me some serious ammunition for when we do get to go to the parks together. Bwwaaaaaahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And again, that MM is truly stinkin' cute! Since she loves dusting so much, you think Peg would rent her out to me for a few hours next time y'all come down?
So it's "sick" now, is it? Guess that's better than straight for good and gay for bad. Of course, I guess everything's just groovy, huh?
Ohhhh, you're slipping, girl!
Did you tell them we call it food porn? Nah... probably a good idea not to. They might not let you take their boy again ;-)
That boy's a definite keeper!
And I loved the strawberries and that Mickey!!!! Wonder if I could go there and just get that! ;-)
Okay, I'm thoroughly enjoying your TR.... hopefully I can stay caught up this time!!!
Although i must say it was fun reading about your hopes that the US and Canada would play for the gold. What are you, telekepsychic or something? Congrats on the game!!!
Gotta run... time to head off for work.
And you know me... I have to comment on things. So those of you that have some wisdom will just want to skip this post, I'm sure.

and says "it's true mom, you have a gift for making people cry"....I wasn't really sure how to take that!!!
Of course, it all depends on the mood in which it was said, like everything else, right?
Hypermommy texted me on our first day in Florida and told me I could have left the cold at home![]()
Yeah... and you never did take it back! LOL
"who's that" and he would say I don't know....she looked at me at one point and said "clearly I should have worked with him before we left" we all had a good laugh.

As you can see, crowds were at a minimum on this our first day....
Couldn't have anything to do with your lazy butts staying in the room until 10'something, could it?

How fun to see it through the eyes of someone who appreciates everything!!
I think you hit the nail on the head there. I was turning the cart....not very well either, accordingly to them. Truth be told, I was doing it on purpose.....keep it interesting
Now that's the queen I know and love!!!!
on their upcoming graduation. It was hilarious beyong belief to see the look on Aladdin's face...he looked at us and said "how's she know that" and Jasmine didn't skip a beat, she leaned over the table, grabbed his hand and said, "Disney magic, isn't it wonderful".
Ahhhhhh... you've surely raised that girl right!!!
Too funny, I guess boys will always be boys.
Amen there!! The one at my house that gives me the most trouble is the 50 year old.
Of course I made the kids stop for the obligatory picture...don't they look happy. I know all they wanted to do was get to the ride, but mama needs the pictures.
It's the golden rule... you have the gold that paid for the trip so they just have to shut up, smile and look at the camera! (I'm such a mean person sometimes... okay, most of the time).
My response when they would look around to see where I was " it's ok, I'll catch up, I'm just trying to take it all in". I don't think they bought it...as I rushed to catch up with them I could hardly breathe never mind talk.
You know... with as smart as those kids are that's quite likely by design.

This shot brought back memories of the first time we rode with my little Mini Montana (niece) her comment was "these ghosts really need to dust.
LOL LOL LOL... that girl's so stinkin' cute!!!!!

Aladdin's first real view of exactly what we were getting on. It ran through my mind to tell him we had to stand, but then I thought I would be nice.
You're slipping, you know....

Mr. Potato head was hilarious, I never realized he was interactive until this trip....it was so fun watching the little ones talk to him like he was a real person....priceless.
What do you mean "like he's a real person"???? Whatchu talking 'bout, Willis?
worst behaved little girl behind us and her parents did nothing. The dad picked her up because she kept taking her shoes off and her grandma said something to her and she kicked her in the face...the dad and mom did or said nothing. Jas and Aladdin's mouth's were hanging open. It was funny to listen to them about how they would have handled the situation...I was actually impressed with both of them. Oh well, everyone parents in their own special way I guess
Yeah, and then the rest of us have to put up with these self absorbed little brats as they grow up. Heaven forbid that we do something to harm their precious self-esteem!!!!

She said, no worries though, the man said they have room. I was stunned, in 12 years of coming to the World I have never been able to walk in to that restaurant and get a table. We decided we would wait in the lounge.
There's something to be said here about God looking after children and.... oh, something.

This cracked me up...I thought for sure he was going to buy this, but he didn't.
Oh too cute!!!!! Love him in the rasta hat!!!!!
Great pics he took. Very sweet of him taking the panda picture for MM. That boy's quite a young man!!
After he walked up and down the line of people waiting to see him looking for a pen and paper, he just took Jasmine to the phone behind where he was and instructed her to punch in her phone number.....this went on for a good 5 minutes
This is just tooooooo hilarious!!!!
I told the kids to do their best bug impersonations...apparently, Jasmine had been hit with Raid...and was losing her mind I do love this picture though...that's my crazy girl
LOL LOL LOL at the bug picture!!! I don't know what kind of face I'd make if someone told me to look like a bug. LOL
As we walked up, I saw her standing there texting, and I knew it was me she was texting!! I just walked up and stood in front of her and when she looked up we just hugged each other harder than you can imagine.....I felt like I had finally found my long lost friend and I can't tell you how happy I was.
Yep, it was you!

There's no way you could have been happier than me! I had SUCH a wonderful time!!!!! The only reason I left as early as I did was because of having to go to work the next morning. But maybe next time you're down I'll have tix and we can close down a park together!!!! I had so much fun catching up with you and you're right, it did feel like we'd known each other forever!!!!!!!!!!
she is truly the funniest, kindest, most interesting person....we loved her
Now you know you shouldn't lie like that. Definitely not kind... at least I try not to be. Interesting? Maybe... like a train wreck or something. LOL.. <I'm blushing by the way>
My Southern accent? LOL LOL Lemme let you meet my sister sometime. She still lives in SC and boy, oh, boy! Compared to her, my accent is just a dog that won't hunt!
A young man at the table next to us volunteered to take a picture so we could all be in it, but let me tell you, he was 2 sheets to the wind and then some...thus the quality of the picture lol...oh well he meant well!!!
LOL LOL!!!! A bit fuzzy, but then again, I think I might have been a bit fuzzy too, so that's probably what caused it.
How wonderful that you got to meet hypermommy. I knew you guys were arranging it and I'm glad it worked out for ya all. See I tried to throw in a southern spin there.
Quite nicely done! Hey, maybe if I try, I can get the whole board talking right, huh?
Can't believe you are like Peg with bugs!! When we were kids we were on my grandma's front porch and I told her that she had a daddy long legs in her hair and because I tormented her on a daily basis she didn't believe me....until it started crawling down her facemakes me laugh to this day!!!1
It was wonderful meeting Hypermommy, I am telling you, funniest person!!! She had Aladdin in stitches....she told us she was gonna make us grits next time we come...and hush puppies....I can't wait...even though I don't know what either is![]()
I can just see you doing that with Peg too!!!! LOL LOL LOL And after you've had grits and hushpuppies, you might just want to plan on moving down here!

Where we live the legal drinking age is 18, which Jasmine turns this year, but she does want to go to WDW for her 21st because she wants to be legal around the "world" which means world showcase!! You have to have a grey goose slushie in France....my favoritie drink in all the World!!!!
Aladdin still talks about her stories!
Ruh roh... I should probably be scared shouldn't I? See that's what happens... people always seem to remember me much more than I remember them and I guess the reason is that I show my butt just a bit too much.

Entering Adventureland...don't they look happy? We were a little sad that SM was closed but I kept reminding them there would be more trips in the future.
Love that pic of them entering Adventureland!!!! Just perfectly framed and colors and everything!!!!
Great shots of Agrabah too!!!
You would never have gotten me on this ride as a child, so I was so surprised last summer when my 5 year old niece went on with Jas and I and didn't flinch...she was, however, concerned that the ghosts weren't dusting enough.
We had a wonderful time on HM and Aladdin couldn't get over how "sick" everything was....I learned on this trip "sick" was a good thing!!
So it's "sick" now, is it? Guess that's better than straight for good and gay for bad. Of course, I guess everything's just groovy, huh?
Are you kidding me..."what makes you so special" is what was going through my head, but I kept my filter on and nothing spilled out....this time!!!!
Ohhhh, you're slipping, girl!

with his family and his dad was making fun of me for taking food pictures.....non-Diser's...they just don't get it do they?
Did you tell them we call it food porn? Nah... probably a good idea not to. They might not let you take their boy again ;-)
and I have to say Aladdin was quick on the draw of grabbing the camera to take this picture...made my day!!!
That boy's a definite keeper!
And I loved the strawberries and that Mickey!!!! Wonder if I could go there and just get that! ;-)
Okay, I'm thoroughly enjoying your TR.... hopefully I can stay caught up this time!!!

Gotta run... time to head off for work.
