Hope you get to feeling better soon!!

Yeah Liz, I'm so happy you're doing one, and I'm subbing!!! Maybe I should hold your mittens hostage and bring them with me so you HAVE to come? Is that wrong? It seems wrong, but I'll do it if it means you'll come and see us![]()
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I, unfortunately, have picked up a nasty cold....just got over a virus that went through my branch and now this.....ok enough whining. Jasmine and Aladdin are out for dinner and bowling for one of their friend's birthday's so I am just sitting here on the laptop, wrapped in my fuzzy castle blanket from WDWwith my cup of tea and I thought I better check in.
We spent the day today at Jasmine's cheer competition and I'm very happy to tell you all they placed third. They have the provincial championships next month on the 10th so it's going to be a brutal upcoming month. Everything is starting to come together for grad and they are having their biggest fundraiser next Friday. They do a fashion show at the school so I will be sure to post pictures of that next week.\
I hope I am feeling a little more human tomorrow to actually at least get a half day posted.
Hope you all have a great weekend![]()
Hope you start feeling better Queen!
Congrats to Jas on the cheer competition!Sounds like there are a lot of fun and exciting things coming up.

I loved your DHS update. I can't believe the rude man at Sci-Fi. It definitely takes all types. I love the enthusiasm from Aladdin. Reminds me of the first time I went and that feeling of being so amazed. As always, beautiful fun pics!
Take care of yourself!![]()
Hope you feel better
for Jasmine and team!
I'll be looking forward to the fashion show pictures!![]()

I cannot believe that I just finished our August 2009 TR and I get to write a PTR for our next trip that is seriously right around the corner!!! We are feeling truly blessed right now that we are fortunate enough to be able to go back to our favorite place after being there only 5 months ago.
Let me first introduce you to the cast of characters that will be embarking on this journey....
First there is me Queenofallthings...I became unnaturally addicted to the World in 1998 when we went for our very first trip. I thought for so long something was wrong with me for my, lack of a better word, obsession with this place....that is until I found all of you....now I know it's perfectly ok to eat, sleep and drink Disney!!!!!
Next is my lovely and wonderful 17 year old daughter Jasmine. This trip is truly all about her (isn't everything when their 17) as she is graduating from high school in June, so now you know, that is what we are celebrating on this trip.
Finally, Thomas, Jasmine's equally wonderful 17 year old boyfriend who we love to death. They are graduating together and I thought what better way to celebrate than to take them both....the only question now was, would his parents let him go???
Here's a couple of pictures so you know who's doing all the yacking on here...![]()

So the whole trip started out with Jasmine and I going. I asked Thomas if he thought his parents would let him go and he said he didn't think so. Being the pursuasive person that I amsaid it never hurts to ask, all they can say is no. I told him all he would be responsible for his airfare, that I would take care of everything else....what was I thinking, I clearly forgot how much a 17 year old boy eats.....
I made sure the kids wouldn't miss any school as it is their semester break. When Thom first asked his dad, he instantly said no.....we were all very disappointed. The following morning, however, his mom mentioned it to him and Thomas said "Dad said no". Mama to the rescue. She talked to his dad and said what a great opportunity this would be for him.....DONE!!! We were so excited....let the planning begin.
Ok...now I need to be completely honest....I had made the reservations including him...how presumptious was that of meI figured worst case scenerio, I take him off the room.
So, we are officially booked Jan 29 - Feb 7 at All Star Movies in a preferred room. We took advantage of that deal with the $300 gift card....I booked the first 5 days with the deal then 4 days of room only. I will add on 4 more days to the passes when we arrive
I look forward to sharing this trip with all of you!!! My intentions are to get up the ADR's tomorrow...the children seem to want dinner right nowGod forbid they should actually make dinner......
Hope you get to feeling better soon!!![]()
I'm joining in on your TR!
I love reading it
Hope you feel better
Hey there! Just wanted to pop in and get caught up and say hi. Wanted to do that this weekend but was busy fighting with my website and losing an hour of sleep on Sunday morning!
Thanks for the pics of SciFi. Heard the "show" lots of times but never really knew what the inside looked like.
Congrats to Jas on her cheering competition!
And I hope you're feeling better!
I am so happy you had a great time in Disneyland....I love the pictures on FB....Abby has grown so much since we saw you in August!! Well, now that your back, we'll have to get serious about setting a date for us all to get together!!!Hi Queen!! Finally got caught up...loved your updates. That is so great that Aladdin liked Sci Fi! We haven't eaten there since our honeymoon....I think we definatly have to bring Abby there! Sorry to hear that you are sick!! I hope you get better soon!!!
LOLyou are too funny my friend! I would love it if we could work out a Dismeet trip!!!
No, Queen can't be! I hope you are feeling better...drink plenty of fluids and stay wrapped in that fuzzy castle blanket...it has
: you know!
to Jasmine!!! That's so great to hear and can't wait to see the fashion show pics!!
Feel better soon!!![]()
When I read you had already made the reservations with him in the picture I laughed, it is exactly what I would have done!
I too am doing what you did, my oldest is going to be graduating this May and the only thing she has asked for , for years is going to Disney for graduation. So we will be down there this summer! She has no idea at this point, she was invited by her best friends family to go to Paris and I said yes. It is their graduation present to my daughter and their daughter. So I told her I guess the trip to Disney is off, but I lied! I figured for over 10 years all I heard was you "Disney for graduation", so she will get her one and only wish.
It has nothing to do with my having Disney withdrawals!

YAY I'm in!! What a wonderful Mommy you are!!!
Just a thought on the cake...last June I ordered DF a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery instead of through one of the restaraunts. I want to say it was only around $50 (not the $100 you mentioned) and it was to DIE for!!! Seriously the best cake I've ever had!! It was also big enough that we ate it for a few days!

It was quite presumptious of me wasn't it?I just had that sixth sense that everything was going to work out...thankfully it did
Paris and Disneyworld....what a lucky girlI can't wait to hear all about it....you will be doing a TR right

I plan on it, in all of these trips we are going to be moving from Nebraska back down to Florida. So it should be an interesting time, butI hope to get this trip out in a timely manner. My moving back to Florida has nothing do with being closer to Disney
, at least that is what I tell my family who lives in Florida too. Seriously, I do have family in Florida and it has been so hard to be this far away from them. Nebraska has been nice, but I am oh so ready to head back to the South.
I have missed it so very much.
Hypermommy.....is that you? Did the virus get you....why are you being so nice....where's the ducking and running comments....please tell me what you have done with my wonderful friend!Jas says "thanks HM....apparently they abbreviate everything these days.
Nah... not a virus. I guess I was just tired. You know it takes energy to be this evil! But even I'm not evil enough to kick a friend when she's down.
Oh, but now you're feeling better? Cool!!!! It's on like Donkey Kong, baby!
I should be much less tired soon. Even though I'll be doing much, much more. Thanks to a generous uncle named Sam we should be getting a bit of a windfall in the next week or so. That, of course, translates into Disney passes!!!!!!!!!!! So I'll be over there a lot... for research purposes, of course.
So when ya coming back? I feel the need... the need to ---> drink around the world of course!!!!![]()
Glad to hear you're feeling better! Can't wait to hear the official date of a September trip...I hope it's not the week of Sept. 12....have a wedding cake that day....
![]()
I see you also booked your DVC tour....beware my dear friend....it's few and far between that attend and leave without DVC membership![]()
The only way we won't come is if they don't offer free dining.....other than that, we look in good shape to make it down again!!!!
Hopefully in the next few weeks she will have some idea what she wants to take.
Jasmine got a job!!!
for another trip!! I'm sure they will offer free dining again so that shouldn't be a problem!
Congrats to Jasmine on finding a job!
Looking forward to another post![]()
But it can be done. When you're married to Grumpy like I am and he reminds you that it'd be a better decision to buy a full time house before you buy a part time one...... well, it can be done.
And that's just wrong isn't itI can justify just about anything....that's my problem!!
You'd better come back down!!! Free dining or not!!!!!!!!! Remember, I've got all the grits and hushpuppies you wanna eat!
How could I forgetI think Aladdin has told everyone they know that story
She'll probably change majors several times. Most kids do. And besides.... it's not so much the major that gets the doors open for you as just the fact that you can complete college. I have a History degree and I work as a computer programmer (go figure... but I guess I'm just strange, huh?)
Truer words have never been spoken! I always wanted to be a hairdresser....I am a banker....how did that happen?
Oh excellent!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
Can't believe that I missed this. Well I've managed to get through your first day and it seems like it was a fantastic start. I'm happy that you got the Grey Goose Slushie on the first day. A perfect way to start!![]()
