Good morning. It is 70 with temps heading into the 80s. Owen's party worked out. It stopped raining so they could use the bouncy house. They also played video games. One of Kenny's friend from highs school who now lives in San Diego was visiting. She is a really nice person. She calls me Mom. She said I should come out to visit and we can go to Disneyland. You never know!

This morning so far I went to Market Basket to get some produce and then to Lowe's nearby. I bought a hose and nozzle just in case I need to clean off the deck or water some plants. We have automatic sprinklers but they are not always accurate. I would prefer not to have to water the plants but if needed I will. Some people here do but I think it is because they do not have anything else to do. I am heading to the lake to walk in a bit and then to Kenny's. He needs my car to bring back the bouncy house. Then they are off to NH and Jeff and family to the Cape. Later I am going to a program at the place where I do Salt therapy. It is a spiritual type of program which could be interesting. It gets me out of the condo and with people.

Snowysmom, I'm so glad Owen's party worked out so well. More than that I am so very grateful to God for all the positive people He has placed in your life. Just always remember, my friend, you are a blessing to them and to us. I think you definitely should come to DisneylandI would be blessed to get to meet you in person if you did and we were able to meet up. Good morning. Another 97 degree ahead. We 'might' get some rain on Wednesday. Was just looking at the long range forecast for Aug-Oct and pretty much everyone is going to be warmer (and hotter) than usual. They're even saying October will be warmer than normal. We should be having nice cool, Fall weather by then!

Worked on yard sale stuff yesterday. Still a lot to go through, clean and price but I'm getting there.
Nothing else new going on around here.

Good morning. It is 70 now with temps going into the mid 90s. Very hot for the next few days. Yesterday I walked at the lake early. I went to a program at the place where I have salt therapy. It was interesting and a bit helpful. Today I will walk outside early and then head to the gym after work to walk on the treadmill for a bit. Not much else going on.

Dad and I are looking forward to seeimg Dr. S This morning. Grace of God, He has brought me so far since early Spring when Dr. S was last here. I am also extra thankful to God right now for a new breath of a new day, opportunity I pray to make a kind difference as His witness and servant. This afternoon God willing I will also get to talk to Pastor Louise again.

I read earlier from the opening to John's Gospel. Reminder God, His indescribable love, invites and welcomes us to be in fellowship with Him. He is with us even until the end of the age indeed. Praise be to God. He loves you and by His making and keeping us all a family, each of you have my love, toom

Good Monday Morning!

Snowysmom - glad the birthday party went well. I think you should take the offer to visit Disneyland!!!

Saturday was spent sitting outside in the pool. It was hot and I enjoyed it! Sunday was our work picnic. I felt like I was standing on the sun it was so hot!!!!! I decided to take Mia with me, she had fun. After I thought about this whole picnic thing Saturday night I had myself kinda mad. I spent an hour Friday night shopping for supplies and on Sunday I was there an hour early to set everything up. I just feel like I shouldn't have been expected to do all this on my own time. This wasn't a volunteer thing, I was told to plan this picnic. Maybe I'm just acting like a princess but I wasn't happy that I had to spend my 1 weekend off going to this picnic.

Last night Mia and I met up with everyone for dinner. It's been a while since we did this and we had fun.

Working from home today. Supposed to rain later this afternoon so I'm hoping to go sit out back early in the afternoon.

Good morning. Another 100 degree day, I can't take much more of this heat. I went out to water a little while ago, and came in dragging. Just being out there long enough to water and fill the feeders and bird baths did me in. Staying inside the rest of the day except for putting cold water out every couple of hours for the cats.
Threw away another 4 rotted tomatoes, I'm about to give up on the garden and just let it sit there and all rot.

@footballmouse Sorry about the picnic. Next time someone TELLS you that you're going to do it, make it known that you're not going to be the one to do it.

Well I'm going to go back on my comment about the picnic. My boss just called me and said that her and our director spoke this morning and they decided to give me a day off without taking any PTO. That was very generous of them, I was thinking maybe the afternoon but I'll take the entire day! I'm trying to catch the weather forecast, hopefully it will be nice out on Friday (thinking of taking that day).

Hug Footballmouse and thank you always for allowing us to care for Mia from afar and always, YOU! I remember one teaching job I had a few times decided we all had to attend Saturday workshops at a private preschool. It was always the same preschool and we (employees) didn't have a say. We definitely were not paid for going which wasn't right. Had it been truly our choice to attend that would be different but it was part of the job. Anyway, that is YEARS under the bridge. Just sharing because I can relate. I'm so glad all worked out today. You and Lynn and anyone else in heat please stay well and cool!

Dr. S was very pleased by my progress. She also is very thankful I am working with Vivian. I was grateful to hear Vivian has been communicating with Dr. S as well. Dr. S and I agreed that 2 months will be a good time to see her again. I will put in an appointment request for that. Dad also had a good visit with Dr. S and will be seeing her again in the Fall. This afternoon, I am looking forward to talking again with Pastor Louise.

Hello new around here, nice to meet everyone, i have a bad back at the moment so am feeling very sorry for myself, but i am sat in the garden and i am being acompanyed by many wild birds witch is nice a black bird just popped down to see me and have a nibble and a bath hope everyone has a lovely day ita 11;12am here in a cold uk the weather is crazy for this time of year i need the heat!

I am happy you came! I also feed the birds and love watching take a bath.

I do hope you feel a bit better soon, and that some sunny warm days come your wat.

Today when I was feeding the fish, I saw a baby!! Yeah!

The temperature here is low/mid 80’s so, we are lucky. This morning, Nancy and I went to the pool, and for our whole hour of doing exercises, only two others were in the pool. It’s wonderful!

The baby is within the pot’s circle.

Just a quick hello. I saw the orthopedist today. I do have a small tear in my knee but do not need surgery. I was fitted for a knee brace for some stability and will be doing some core strength exercises to build the left leg back up as it is weaker than the right leg. There is some mild arthritis but I am not in need of a replacement anytime soon. Overall, the knee is in good shape except for being a little weak. I was happy to hear that and did like the physician's assistant who works with the surgeon I wanted to see.

It's been really hot here and as much as I would love to go to the pool I worry about air quality. I may go tomorrow for an hour or two, depends on my mood, since I have a free day.

Funny story I thought I would share. My cruise is in a month and I was chatting with Mikey about what he needs to pack. I wanted to make sure he has enough clothes. I know he is good on socks as I got him them on a great sale. He loses socks constantly. He thinks he has enough shirts, I did get him 2 dress shirts and a couple of golf shirt type shirts for dinners. So the next biggie was underwear. He thinks he needs that. I called him from Walmart when I was there over the weekend and he was mortified that I was going to buy him underwear. I just needed to know what kind of boxers he preferred. Evidently he has reached an age where grandmom does not need to get him boxers. I told my daughter to check that he has shirts and gets underwear or I am buying them this weekend. My family knows that I have a weird OCD about that.

Good Morning. Another hot one here today, around 95. I am not able to get outside to walk except for around 8 am. I did go to the gym yesterday and do the treadmill. Today I have a therapy appt so not able to get to the gym. I will have to be sure I do alot of walking and exercises inside today.

Plans today are to straighten up the fridge and make a run to Petco for gecko food. Of course that means I might have to stop by the Hallmark ornament premier on the way.

Then later I need to print some more photos for a gift I'm making.
