Tazdev Glad your Dad is home. Hope he has a wonderful birthday party. He does deserve a nice day. It is always interesting to make plans for traveling for cruises and other trips. Since you do have time to plan I am sure it will all work out in a good way. Have fun on your Disney trip. I am looking forward to going in May. So need it too!

Bobbiwoz Thinking of you and Tom. Your cruise and travel plans sound really nice. The after trip to the NP should be amazing.

@flyingdumbo127 I hope your doctor's appt goes well and you get all the info you need.

It is 27 here now but going into the 50s today. Rain coming in tonight and a wet day tomorrow. By Thursday it will be back in the lower 30s with wind. I am in the office Thursday but leaving early to have lunch with my friend. She rented a condo in Florida for March so I won't be seeing her for a while. I had my weekly meeting with my boss yesterday and of course I got more tasks to do. One is very easy while the other not so much. I did tell her about my retirement plan which is basically to work until I can't work anymore. She was glad to hear that as she said she was thinking about if I was going to retire soon. Everyone in our group has been in the company so long. I am the newest one with 16 1/2 years. If someone leaves they take alot of knowledge with them. Plus we do work well together as a group.

My DGD Charlotte is 5 today. Hard to believe. She is so happy to be the birthday girl. Her party is next weekend and I am invited so it will be fun to see her play with her friends.

Have a good day.

Good Morning.:sunny:

Happy birthday to Charlotte, a whole hand today!!!!🖐️

Yesterday the high was 71, bad rain storm is expected tonight and the high tomorrow ... 30. Are you kidding?!?!⛈️😠

Going to a fancy dinner tonight with some coworkers from my weekend job. We try to go to different presentations that "baby" companies put on at really nice restaurants, all free 🙂. While you eat, they have speakers that talk about different things regarding babies. Tonight's topic is Marijuana in Pregnancy & Human Milk. Some of the talks are actually interesting, I mostly go for the nice dinner.🥩🍷

I watched an episode of Tracker last night. It was pretty good, I think I'll stick with it. I'll go back probably this weekend and catch up on the other 2 episodes that I've missed.

Drove all the way to one of the P&G locations yesterday, I qualified for a study for a cleaning product. Paid $75 and when I got there at my appointment time, 4:15, all the spots were full 😠. I ended up getting $50 for showing up. That's the risk I take for having to schedule these things late in the afternoon, but I can't leave work early.😕

Well, that's all I have today. Have a great day!

Mt. Rainier
Hiking and hiking
Gondola ride at Crystal Mt which is nearby. They have chairs to lounge on near the edge of the mountain side to take in the scenery. There is a restaurant at the summit. There were little chipmunks running around our feet while dining.
Road trip around Rainier
Wildflowers

Olympic NP
Hoh Rainforest
Hiking - Hurricane Ridge
Beaches and tide pools
Fishing
I will keep the list. Thank you!!

Good morning. They said rain all day, but for now the sun is out. I just talked to my friend in CO, they were almost 70 yesterday and this morning it's going to snow. We got to 68 yesterday. She's on her way to the hospital to have her adenoids out. I didn't know they could grow back once they were out. I had mine out in grade school. This is the second time she's had them out.

I got a text from Summer last night, that when she got home from her doctors appointment in Morgantown yesterday, Gracie was having uncontrollable vomiting and in excruciating pain. She called and ambulance and they took her to the hospital. They did a CAT scan to determine if it was her appendix, but it wasn't. She has some kind of fluid in her colon and they think it's a small bowl obstruction. Instead of doing anything about it, they sent her home and told her to call her gastro doctor today. Summer was going to take her to Morgantown if it didn't get better or she was in more pain. They did give her pain killers, but they need to take care of the problem. From what we found online, immediate surgery should have been called for.

Off to feed the cats, take the trash out and make my grocery list before getting my morning treadmill work out in.

Have a good day.

Lynn It seems like surgery or at least observation for Gracie was warranted. I hope she is doing better.

Footballmouse I hope you have a nice dinner.

Jeff sent me a picture of my DGD Charlotte at school with her 5 birthday crown that she made. She is so happy it is her special day. She told everyone she saw going into school that is it is her birthday.

Aw, precious Charlotte!

Many prayers for Gracie!

Waiting my turn for an insurance representative to come on the line. I did, thank God, get a kind online doctor to put a referral that I see a podiatrist and get X-Rays on my Teladoc account. I am so grateful that progress is being made. Tomorrow morning, I am expecting a call from the podiatrist's office. I will also be calling the most logical PPO option just to find out what that would cost. Free to ask and I sure am tired of the runaround and red tape from my current HMO. Grateful of course to God to have options. loving hugs and sweet dreams to all.

@flyingdumbo127 Glad your were able to get a referral for a podiatrist.

Thinking of Pea-n-me and hoping all is well.

Lynn How is Gracie feeling?

It is raining here, 48 degrees. By tomorrow it is supposed to be windy and in the lower 30s. Crazy! I just hope the roads are not slippery when I have to drive into the office. I had my therapist appt yesterday. It was interesting and she does have compassion and good ideas. I am looking forward to lunch with my friend tomorrow as she is very good to talk with too.

I did face time with Charlotte last night. She had a good birthday and was getting ready to have ice cream to celebrate some more. The kids really love their birthdays.

Have a good day.

Good Rainy Morning.☔

The rain started around 5:00 am and was done after an hour. ⛈️

My dinner was delicious last night. You were able to choose from a couple of options. I ordered the Ceasar salad and the filet migon 🥩. That came with mashed potatoes and for dessert the brought chocolate pudding or blueberry cobbler to the table. I went with the cobbler. They also gave you 2 drink tickets so I got myself a beer 🍺. The talk was pretty interesting but it was a tad too long for my attention. The speaker gave a lot of info on percentages which didn't keep my attention.

Felt bad that I didn't have much time with my dogs before I went to bed. I was so tired 🥱. I got home at 8:00 and should have went to bed at 8:30 but I stayed up until 9:00. The dogs kept bringing their toys to me so I stayed up to play with them.🐶:dog:

Last week of the puzzle contest at work. Finished the packet except for the Sudoku. My friend who has been doing that puzzle for me is sick so I don't want to bother her with it, Evan keeps forgetting to do it when I send it to him, so I'm going to work on it. I've tried that puzzle every week but I just can't figure it out. I used to be able to do them, not sure what happened. 🤔

Back to work, have a great day!

Good morning and welcome to Wacky Weather Wednesday. It stayed at 55 overnight. We had a 5 minute thunderstorm an hour ago, then the sun came out. Now it's gray and looks like it's going to dump down rain again. Getting to 65 with high wind warnings from this afternoon till tomorrow morning as the cold front comes back in, for 1 day. It's just nuts.

Gracie is still in pain and still waiting for someone to do something. The test results show she has something called Mesenteric lymphadenitis, which is basically an infection in her intestines. The ER doctor told Summer that all of Gracie's labs were normal, but she sent me screen shots of them and they weren't normal. Everything was out of whack, either very low, or very high. Instead of giving her antibiotics for an infection he gave her steroids.
Summer is waiting for the gastroenterologist to get back to them about what to do.
She was supposed to go back to school today, but Summer is getting another note from her doctor. She's not sending her to school in pain with vomiting an diarrhea. Gracie tried to eat a few bites of food yesterday and was immediately nauseous again. So they're playing the waiting game. Going to have to take it easier on the treadmill.

I walked almost 10 miles yesterday (total, not at once), and my legs felt it last night. But I'm building up my stamina on it anyhow. Waiting till tomorrow to do errands and grocery shopping as Summer wants to go with me. She needs a break from doctors appts. She took Lily to Morgantown yesterday for an appointment. Today she has to take her for an MRI of her knee, to get her license renewed and then back to Morgantown for an ENT appointment. It just never ends

Have a great Wednesday!

Lynn, I wish we could react in multiple ways to a post. Go you for walking so much yesterday. I, of course, feel terrible for Gracie. How awful. so very much prayer for her indeed!

Bobbi, l of course, prayers always also for you and Tom!

I am feeling frustrated because the podiatrist office has yet to call me. I will, of course, call them once dad is home--want to leave the phone line open now which is why I have yet to call. This afternoon, I'll also be calling an insurance alternative to find out how it works and what the cost would be. I so pray to be moving forward. I so want, God willing, to be able to go to Disneyland over my birthday and honestly be of literal fleeter feet and service to Jesus. I also pray to give thanks in every moment for the blessing it is and that no matter what, WOW, I am able to in some way serve, that is joy to me. Yes, it would be awesome to be rid of the Velcro boot and any lingering feet related pain, too! I shall update later. Hugs to all.

So glad you enjoyed your dinner Footballmouse! How is Remy doing?🐈🙏
Remy is doing good, thanks for asking. I'm glad that gave her a shot of steriods at the office because the medicine that I have to give her every day isn't going too well. She squirms all over the place and I feel bad holding her down. She hasn't gone to the bathroom outside of the litter box or had blood in her stool since she saw the vet so hopefully the medicine has fixed her problem.

A frustrating Wednesday update sadly is I am still battling runaround. Tomorrow, early, I'll need to call part of my current insurance once again. These are the people who told me to do the Teladoc appointment and get the podiatrist referral which I did. The podiatrist’s office is asking for additional information and once again telling me a referral must be submitted specifically for their office by my primary (Don't have one). GRR! This is why so many people horribly have no healthcare :( I shall try again tomorrow.

::MickeyMo::MinnieMoPictures to I pray bring each of you extra cheer :)
