Thank you all forever and always for all your love. Snowysmom
thank you my friend. Thank you also for sharing with us about your friend and how God brought you both extra peace. I recently watched an episode of It's a Miracle that showed an overwhelmed woman coming across God's reminder that He is always with her and that indeed all would be okay, through His gift of creating encouraging messages on a paper towel roll just for her to find exactly when she did. The next morning, there was no writing on the paper towels. I believe He did something similar yesterday for you and your friend with the sign. I will post an episode link later when I'm on the laptop.

and thank you always for all your kindness and encouraging suggestions. I definitely want to go to the podiatrist. You have renewed my hope that getting down the stairs is a possibility. The red tape truly is ridiculous and as I have been saying all along plain sad because so many people don't get any needed support or care because of it. God willing, a positive update to come later.

escape to look forward to. Be safe my friend and have FUN!
If I could afford that, I would have long ago made the podiatrist appointment on my own and sadly may have to at this point. Insurance first off had no record of the agent's note from yesterday that I requested a call back from a supervisor. I was told yesterday that I would receive this call today. Today's agent told me the waiting period for a call back is 72 hours not including weekends. Today's agent insisted a Teladoc referral does not work for a specialist. She claimed the agent earlier this week who recommended Teladoc to me must have misunderstood my reason for needing Teladoc--not so but okay. Bottom line is zero progress was made. It appears as though I would still need my primary care doctor (I was assigned one who I sure didn't pick) to put in her referral through insurance which could take 2 weeks to be approved. This doctor is associated with a healthcare center and does not appear to have a private office. When I called the number, it goes to an automated system. I finally did get through to someone who then transferred me to another person. Person #2 informed me I had been transferred to "an internal line," and to call back and press "option 7." You got it, there is no true option 7. I did press the option for a call back since, "wait times are higher than normal." Guess what? I did this twice just as an FYI. My phone rang each time. I say, "Hello," only to be greeted by a dial tone. Both times.
always my friend for you, your kindness, and suggestions. I will be spending time today making a list for Monday of clinic and doctor options to call. Tomorrow, a true day off from all this!
