Good Morning Everyone🌸 and Happy Day before Valentine's Day,

Dad just headed out to drop off some tax forms and go to Dollar Tree along with Walmart. He might also stop very quickly in Costco which is very close to Walmart to use our free $10 Costco gift card that he got when he became a member. This afternoon, we will put up our Valentine ❤️decorations and get out our paper plates and napkins. little things that make a special occasion or holiday more fun and meaningful, lasting in memory too. Tomorrow morning, we will also make heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast.
Welcome home, Easyas! I'm grateful to read your trip went well and that your :dogdance: traveling companion did okay in on the :car:road.

Extra feel-better🌼and prayers to you and Tom, dear Bobbiwoz!

PollyannaMom, sounds like a perfect way to watch the 🏈game with your husband. Glad you enjoyed parts of it and got to be otherwise occupied as well! Prayers this finds you and your🐈warm and well.

🙏for Luke to feel better, Snowysmom! :hug:to you always. Sounds like a fun Sunday with your grandkids. I'm so thankful to God you have them and how blessed they are to have you!

Dear Lynn:grouphug:🙏 a TON all-around. Absolutely thinking of and praying for so very much extra you and Don! Many prayers today brings both of you some much needed extra peace and better health, of course, for Don, especially, too!

:bday:to Mitchell, Footballmouse. Also glad you were able to enjoy some of the Super Bowl.

Wishing each of you a bright and good Monday with joy. I will check back in later.

Afternoon thread save! Dad, thanks to God, came safely home earlier. He was able to take care of needed tax stuff and get us a few hard to find things from a Dollar Tree near that office that he normally doesn't go to because it's almost an hour away. Walmart didn't have much of anything once again. We do much better and in a safer, easier way, from home on walmart.com All is quiet otherwise. We did put up our Valentine ❤️I'll post its picture tomorrow. Waiting on an Amazon 📦and just maybe today the 📬will even come, too. Have a good rest of the afternoon, friends. I will check in again later.

Good evening everyone! Not a lot going on here except that DD's ex seems to think that she should have told him that she changed the kids bedtime. :rolleyes2

DS found out today that his transplant was fully approved by insurance. He had been told that back at the end of November but at the first of the year the insurance company was waffling on it. His WBC and RBC's are moving up but his platelets are not. Doctors don't seem to be concerned at this point.

There was a Be the Match sign up at church on Sunday. A few people signed up. DD helped man the sign ups and met a young woman that had a stem cell transplant four years ago and is still cancer free. Was good to hear.

I didn't watch the Super Bowl. I usually only watch for the commercials anyway but since that post them in advance now a days I don't spend the time unless its the Cowboys anymore. I didn't think that any of the commercials online were any good. DD liked the half time but she could see where people wouldn't.

Got my Quick Lasagna in the oven. Have a good night!

:grouphug:Kirby and I am very extra thankful to God in reading your share. God Bless the kind folks that signed up. I love that you were able to do this at your church and pray the congregation as a whole has offered you and your family support. 🙏continuing for your son along with the young woman you mentioned, too. Forever prayers for your precious grandkids!

@Kirby Good news for your son. It is such a good sign meeting the young woman who is doing well after her transplant. Your DD's ex is so controlling and it is like he is looking for anything to argue about.

@dazedx3 Thinking of you.

@frog3101 Hope you and your kids are hanging in there. Thinking of you.

Good morning. Cold here, around 30 going up into the 40s which is not too bad. I am still trying to get one more piece of paperwork for the closing at the end of the month. Actually, the attorney and my agent are trying as it really is their responsibility but I have been trying too. The office staff will not return phone calls to my attorney, they tell me they don't have the info right now, the buyer's bank won't close without this info. I am wondering if all condo complexes are like this. Kenny lived in a condo in Boston and I don't think he had this kind of trouble. If anything, people would complain to the office and they would investigate. One time they apologetically called Kenny to say one of the people on the first floor saw him walking his dog but she did not see that he had any poop bags with him. The poop bags were on the leash in a container. Let's see if today will bring this situation to a close. One of the things I am going to find out when I go to buy is how the management office handles things at the complex. Are they helpful or lazy and don't want to do their jobs.

Off to work. Have a good day.

Good Tuesday morning everyone!❤️

Supposed to be in the lower 60's today with a chance of rain later tonight ☔. Tomorrow it's supposed to be beautiful and in the upper 60's ☀️, and then of course takes a nosedive on Friday :cold:.

Didn't do anything last night. Picked up that 3-7 shift at work so after I got off I stopped and got gas and grabbed a pizza for me and the dogs 🍕. They enjoyed it much more than I did.

Nothing going on today, I'm in the office. My boss is working from home so I'm debating if I could sneak out around lunch today.

Tried watching NCIS last night but I could not get into it at all. Didn't enjoy the storyline so I just found something else to do. I stopped and picked up the cookbook that I had on hold at the library. It's for easy meals using the airfryer. There's a few that I copied but most of the recipes were more for the bigger airfryers that you're able to put pans in, mine is a small one with just the basket.

That's all I have today, have a great day!

Good Morning and Happy Valentine's Day. Going to be sunny and almost 60. No big plans for the day, not even a special dinner. Don doesn't feel good enough to eat it if I went to the trouble of making one. Still waiting for Dr's office to call.

@Kirby --Great news about the transplant!

Nothing new going on here, just waiting for Dave to get back from FL so we can get this remodel started.

Have a great day!

Happy Valentine's Day to my Quacker family!

Oh man that would drive me up a wall!

Sorry to read he still isn't feeling well. Maybe the Dr. will be able to see him today and get to the bottom of it.
@Kirby --Great news about the transplant!
Ditto to this! Always good to hear when things work out well in these situations!

Not much going on with me. I ordered a combo whiteboard/cork board to keep track of the receipts & list of things to do for the basement reno, so that is pretty exciting (not). I'm on the road this afternoon & Thursday afternoon to jobsites....and a Teams meeting that starts in about 7 minutes.
Shrimp over salad for dinner tonight.

No Valentines Day things going on for us, I grabbed my husband a funny card I thought he'd get a kick out of, but it's not really a holiday we celebrate. We are both kinda eh about it.

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️ Lynn, I love that picture today!

Geez, two days ago I started a couple of paragraphs, then got called away. Now they’re gone. Sorry!

Long work stretch, was off for one day, now back at it again. Was super busy, and I am exhausted. But I took care one of those great patients over the weekend I’ll always remember, which was nice. We hit it off instantly.

Saw a tiny bit of Superbowl on one TVs at work when Philly was winning, so I was surprised later to see the other team pulled ahead. Congrats to those rooting for the winning team and sorry to those rooting for the losing team. I was thinking about that Mom with one son on each team, she was in the rare position to go into it knowing she’d be happy (and sad) either way. I am not a football fan, either. I only saw one thing in a news article about the halftime show and I thought that was pretty, umm, classless.

Not much going on around home. All just busy working. I felt bad for DD, she was really exhausted after working the weekend, but still had a paper to write. Got it done, then fell into a deep sleep. Couldn’t wake her up for dinner last night. (Turkey dinner, was so good!) She will hopefully be done by the fall; I feel like it’s been taking a toll on her health. Her boyfriend stopped by later to give her flowers and she was still asleep! I was the only one awake so we chatted for a bit. It was sweet of him to come by.

Kirby, I am thrilled to hear your son’s update.
Lynn, I hope your husband can get seen soon.
Bobbi, glad you and your husband are feeling better.
Easy, glad you had a good trip with the pooch.
Snowysmom, frustrating with the information hold up.
Mona, love the heart shaped pancakes!
PM, what kind of dryer did you wind up with? Glad you have one again.
Fondness to All on this day of Love! 💖 🐥

Happy Valentine's Day to my dear Quacker Family❤️🐥May each of you know in an extra way today that God loves and is with you always and that by His additional grace of making and keeping us a family, I care about each of you, too.

Heart shaped pancake made breakfast more fun. As I told dad and he agreed, being together with God in life and health today is such an extra joy and gift.

Tuesday :grouphug:to all. I will check back later with a picture or two as well. Have a great day, friends.

It was!

PM, what kind of dryer did you wind up with?
The GE - a pretty basic style. I favor simple knobs over fancy computer controls with more parts to break:

Hugs to your DD!

Other than being happy about the dryer, I've had a pretty "blah" day. The Michigan thing is just getting to me. 🙁 I can't stop thinking about those poor parents.

I also have a slight on-and-off "toothache" that I think is really sinus/allergy-related from the changing weather. (It's happened before, and my dentist showed me why on my x-rays once. But it's still annoying.)
