I noticed as I was driving around Delmarva earlier this week that a lot of the trees are starting to bud, there is a slight red sheen to the wood line. My Magnolia and Willow trees are starting to bud as well. I'm still holding out for some snow though but I think my chances of that are dwindling fast!

Good morning one & all. Sun is shining, or at least the sky is bright. Rain is coming later today. As I was walking into work thru the parking lot this morning I looked down and realized I walked out of the house with my slippers on , so here I sit, in my slippers hahah! I'll have to go home at some point and grab my work boots, can't exactly troop around a muddy jobsite this afternoon in slippers -

The jonquils in my front yard are almost ready to bloom as well as a few other flowers that I am not remembering the name of. Also the japanese quince is blooming. I keep wanting to move that to another location but here we are and it hasn't happened.

Good rainy morning. Calling for rain most of the day, thunderstorms tonight. Temps near 67. I don't think Spring is going to come this early, I'm still waiting for a snowstorm to surprise us. I noticed that my lilac bushes and maple trees have buds. Way too early. Everytime that happens, we get a bad frost and end up without may lilacs in spring. They are my favorite flowers of all.

@easyas123 --thanks for the laugh and picturing you going to work in slippers. I've done that once or twice, not realizing I forgot to change them before going out. At least you're comfortable!

I have a load of laundry in now. Going to clean the bathrooms and then find something else to do.

I'm going to call Dave tonight and see if he's home from FL yet so we can get this project moving. I told him we wanted it done before Spring when he gets busy working on jobs outdoors, so he needs to get moving!

I have to order a new pool deck today. Finally got someone to give me a little discount. Our old one is in tough shape.

And I think I’m going to have to see someone about my arm after the fall a few weeks ago, I can’t move it all the way up without pain. It was never like that before, I had full range of motion. So sad about that. Also have to make an eye appt and possibly have a minor surgery on my lid that keeps getting swollen. It’s often a blocked duct they remove.

I think I feel a little sore throat coming on, too. Ugh.

Lynxstch, I have always loved your pictures and this one reminded me of one my friend, Tina took during our July 2017 trip.


Tina got this with just her phone, nothing special, and I know it’s something Tina is very proud of. Tina is only in her 50’s and she struggles with RA and immune deficiencies that have and will keep her from visiting WDW for the foreseeable future. When I saw your picture I contacted Tina and asked if I could post her picture and tell you all about her, and she said yes!

It was such a blessing to get to see Sue! Definitely worth feeling like a for a few minutes. Dad enjoyed chatting with her as well and we even got to meet her sweet Wednesday-Sunday caregiver. God Bless Sue truly at 99 going on 100 she is as sharp as ever, feisty, too. She invited in advance dad and I to her 100th birthday celebration which sounds like it will be an open house in the church social hall a few days before her actual 100th birthday. God-willing that will happen and dad and I just might get to go, too.

All also went well at the dentist overall. He mentioned again this morning that he is keeping an eye on one old filling. I still think it is odd at my last appointment he said nothing about that. I next see him for a cleaning at the end of April. Perhaps before that time or for sure depending on what he says then, I just might get a second opinion from dad's new dentist for extra peace of mind.

Easyas, dad and I have in the past considered cutting the cord with Spectrum. We still do have it for now because our cable, computers, and landline are bundled. Spectrum’s prices sure do keep on going up. Sometime to come, we just might also cut back on cable as well. I’m glad you were able to do so right now and save that money! I sure love my own fuzzy bootie slippers! I hope yours are cozy, too

Snowysmom, hooray that at last all has worked out much better with your needed condo paperwork. I will be relieved and happy for you, my friend, come the end of the month and this moving process is much more behind you. Praise God also that a perfect buyer will take over your space. ITA with others that for that person it sounds ideal. I pray that brings you added comfort to know as well. My ideal temperature would be more like in the 80’s but 77 would be just fantastic!

Bobbiwoz, I’m all ready for an early Spring. What kind of fish do you have? Prayers today finds you and Tom both feeling even better. I love Tina's picture! ITA that Lynn's daily pictures including of course of Disney are always wonderful, too, and absolutely bring me morning cheer to see. That is a great savings on cable, Judique! Oh no! I’m sure sorry you had to spend so much time and possibly money as well on your car yesterday. Dad’s old Corolla was a 2009 and ended up having a ton of recalls. He is much happier with his current Honda Fit. Car prayers for you, my friend, indeed along with extra for your endoscopy to come.

I got the good news the paperwork was accepted by the buyer's bank. Getting that was a battle for sure. My agent emailed me another condo to look at in the same town as last weekend. I have to go alone as she is sick, Jeff has to stay with the kids, and Kenny works. So I am doing some research to be able to look for things and ask good questions if needed. I had the kids look at the listing and the pictures. Jeff texted back that it looks like there is a shopping plaza in the back of the condo over the fence. Kenny says it is a quiet plaza. Then Kenny said to be sure you cannot hear noise from the highway that is nearby. So, this may not be the place but it is a learning experience each time I look at a place. I like the picture of the outside space and deck as well as the inside. But you can't do anything about road noise or a shopping plaza too close. I will go on Saturday as I have to drop some stuff off at Kenny's. I just won't be able to stick around to have dinner with him as the open house is late morning.

It is 60 here and cloudy and a bit breezy. One walk down, another to go.

Still chilly here, at least inside our apartment. Dentist office and our this morning were toasty which sure was appreciated extra so early. I will put on my night shirt in just a minute. All good. Quiet and nice afternoon

What great news indeed, Snowysmom! I definitely would not want to move into a new place right by a shopping center either. Still, worth looking into and great idea to be prepared with questions. Continuing all-around.

Thank you also, Snowysom, on Sue and the dentist. Dentist really does try and as I have said, I sure have appreciated his extra time and care. I just am not sure what to make of the on/off filling mention. Blessing I know to not be experiencing issues from it. Dad really does like hus new dentist. That is a bonus blessing that if need be I could just get a second opinion. Still so miss my dentist who retired. He was the best. Take care, my friend and I hope by now your work day is done and you can relax for the rest of the day.

It is cold, snowy and windy here. So far there is about 4 in of snow, it is supposed to last til about midnight. There was at least two pretty major pile ups on the freeway near me.

Valentines day was hard. Lots of tears. It is gut wrenching to come to terms with the fact that things will never be the same. I miss him so much. Treasure every moment with your loved ones.
