@Breezy_Carol hope you feel all better soon,,,you had the second shot right? That's the one I am most worried about hubby having side effects from. He's asleep now,,but I assume it's just because he's been up since 3 am,,and not a side effect of the first one. There was only one person in our line who had any kind of reaction,,and he kept telling his wife he was fine. They let him leave, so I guess he was.
We just hit 78 degrees,,I have all the windows open.
@easyas123--I just did the same thing with the comforter on our bed too..and I am washing the one from the bed in the spare room as we speak to hang outside. I even washed the windows before I opened them..the insides at least..so that's one small part of Spring cleaning done.
I am a little ticked at hubby's life insurance company right now. They used to get it directly from his employer, now that he's retired, we have to pay it (not the issue I have with them). The issue is he signed up for quarterly payments, we paid Jan/Feb/March by check in Dec. It took them till the end of Jan to cash it..we were beginning to think we would have to pay to put a stop payment on it, but it finally cleared.
Today we get a bill in the mail for April..and it now says he signed up for monthly payments. What gave them the right to change what he had listed originally. He went onto their site to see if we could just pay it by visa. Their choices were auto deduct from bank monthly, or send a check. Took him 20 minutes to figure it out. He's a guy, and a guy who hates dealing with people on the phone, so he does things the hard way. I myself will call and raise you know what to get things straightened out right away.
So he decided to do auto pay, filled in bank info , etc. He had to fill out the whole stupid form again, the same info 3x, which is so stupid, and then esign it in 3 places and send it. He got a confirmation email right after. So then ,he's almost done and ready to sign off, all of a sudden it goes to a page where you can pay by credit card and either pay monthly, quarterly, or yearly??? ..what the heck..why was none of that a choice on the page he had to fill out and sign. Why do insurance company's all make you jump through hoops just to pay them. So he's going to wait till they deduct April's payment from our account, then go back in and change it again so we can just pay quarterly or bi annually by credit card. I would rather pay that way and have protection if something happens. I don't want to have to deal with trying to stop auto deduct from our bank account down the line. I don't see a need to have a 'maze' to navigate just trying to pay a simple bill.
Thats my only complaint about today, so far. I just had to vent..he's tired of hearing me complain about insurance companies..lol!
