Dad and I both enjoyed extra sleep this afternoon. I so pray to get back to normal to better be able to give dad more rest time. That's the hardest part of all this to me. I fully trust and give thanks to God in all. I know in His time, this too shall pass. All is already well because He is forever with me. I am so thankful all of you care so much too.

Good morning. It is getting warmer here today with temps in the low 70s. Today and tomorrow will be warm. Yesterday I had salt therapy and I do feel better with the sinus and congestion issues. I signed up for a program at the end of the month which focuses on positivity in life. I do need to be better about that so hope it helps. It is nice to get out with people too.

Happy Election Day!

Voted this morning. Not too bad of a wait. I got there at 6:30 am when they opened and I was in and out in 30 minutes. My sister did early voting last week and waited in line for 2 hours. That's crazy!!!

Thank you for the comments about Mia. She's a lot of fun and I love that she's starting to talk. She turns 2 on Friday and her party is Saturday.

Made Mississippi Roast on Sunday so I took some up to my aunt yesterday. It was pretty good. Cooks in the crockpot so my house smelled so good on Sunday.

Have a dermatologist appointment today after work for my annual skin check.

Noticed that my license expires on Saturday so I'll run out tomorrow and get that renewed.

Hi all, happy Election Day!
I voted mid-day. No wait, but I'm guessing there will be more folks as we get closer to the end of the day. I'll see as I head home.
Husband is actually at Ft. Belvoir today, tonight & tomorrow night so he will get to enjoy election day after/hangover in DC. I think the pups and I will take our book and have a cocktail and read in the hot tub, maybe have a pot pie for dinner and then settle in for a combo of news & the nonsense TV this evening.
I'm also considering ice cream for dinner. Chocolate, obviously. It's been a long day of meetings - and it's sooooo nice outside and I've been stuck inside most of the day
I'm on the road tomorrow morning but back in the office in the afternoon. Eldest brought a deer over to the walk-in last night , and eldest, youngest & husband all hunting this weekend so I'm guessing the walk-in may get crowded.
We are thinking of taking a last minute trip in late January...starting to see some deals much like we did this time last year and we are itching to take advantage of them! All hinges on some other travel plans we have with others for late next year - if that falls thru and I think it will, then we will pull the trigger. And not a long weekend, but a proper 10 days away. I'd like to do it if it works out. I love having something on the immediate horizon to look forward to!

Good morning. It is warm here, 60 and temps heading into the upper 70s. Too warm for me this time of year. Tomorrow temps are heading into the 60s and cooler after that. The NH temps for the weekend are around 50 until Monday when it warms up a bit again. Sunday it is supposed to shower off and on but we will be shopping so in and out of stores. I avoided all news last night and am still avoiding it. I know I have to look sometime but right now I like being ignorant. Reality will hit me soon enough.

Good Wednesday Morning.

Notice I said good, it's not a happy morning. I couldn't watch TV last night.

Been up since 4:00 am, couldn't sleep. By 5:30 I had the litter boxes cleaned, a load of laundry in, and a trip to Dunkin.

No plans for anything today except work from home. I was going to renew my driver's license but I don't feel like putting make-up on and doing my hair. I'll stop tomorrow after work.

I've been doing some Xmas shopping for the past few months. Went through what I have a little while ago. I was going to get Livia a Stitch sweatshirt and matching pants but I remembered that I already bought her a Stitch lightweight sweatshirt earlier. I got Mia a soccer goal so I found a soccerball on Amazon that I like so that's in my cart. For their St. Nick stockings I put gift cards for fast food and a lottery ticket.

Good morning. Sunny and mild, 75 again today. Another power outage this morning, so this is going to be brief. I'm heading to the market and getting errands done. They're sending someone to check the lines, again. They keep telling me it's not harmful to our electronics and I say it is.
