Here the mornings are in the low 60’s. The afternoons have been perfect for bike rides, and without so many visitors, it feels safer on the streets!

We used a gift card to go out to Icarras’s, a new to us Italian restaurant where the lasagna was wonderful. Expensive, I think, but with a salad, we each brought enough lasagna home for another meal.

Good morning. Bright sunshine and blue skies. Going to hit 80 today.

I got my cleaning out of the way early. My legs are still sore from all the yard work yesterday, so taking it easy the rest of the day.

Nothing new going on around here.

I was looking at Italian restaurants just last night. I have a favorite item and that is arancini, but very few spots serve them near me. DD brought me some last week but now I'm wanting more.

We ended up just ordering Sardi's.

Meanwhile I've been working outside since the rain stopped. So much grass!

Good morning. Sunny and bright, temps mid 70's today. I look outside and see nothing that has to be done, it's a nice feeling.

This is a crazy thing about prices. I needed new windshield wipers, so I stopped at Advanced Auto. I wanted Rain X ones like I always use. They told me the price was $35.99 each? I said no thanks and left. I got home after picking up a small Domino's pizza and a caesar salad for dinner, and got on Amazon. Found Rain X ones for the front and rear, and paid less than $25. So why would I spend $70 at Advanced Auto? I've put them on myself before, so I won't have any trouble changing them. It's no wonder I was the only car in the parking lot and the only one in the store. They're pricing themselves out of business

Off to strip the bed and turn the mattress and remake it before cleaning the bathrooms

Good morning. Back from Kenny's house. We had a nice birthday dinner for him and then ice cream cake. He liked his gifts. It is nice to see him enjoy his birthday once again since Chris passed. We went for a walk this morning with Clifford and the kids. One good thing about moving out here is that I feel like I am getting to know Kenny's kids better and we talk alot. I know Jeff's kids well as I had been seeing them more when I (and Chris and I) lived near them. I still them alot, almost every weekend. The drive is worth it. I came back to the condo and cleaned the bathrooms. Now I may just take some chill time and read. I want to order some books on Amazon as I found a series I like. I need the other 2 books I haven't read. Then I am off to Jeff's for playtime with the kids and dinner.

Good morning. It is very chilly this morning at 42. I walked wearing gloves and a warm jacket on. It is supposed to get into the 60s. It was fun to see Jeff and family yesterday. We were outside for a while and they rode bikes, scooters, and played basketball. We had a nice dinner of Chinese food. Traffic was not great both ways with a slowdown for an accident on the way back to the condo. It seems to me that there are more accidents lately. I have never had issues like this in the 3+ years I have been doing the drive on 495 and 93. Are people just getting more and more crazy and just not paying attention? Today I stay in this area and go to soccer games for Ethan and Owen. It is Ethan's first time playing this season due to his broken arm.

Good morning. Chilly 47 when I got up, going to mid 70's today. The rest of the week will be in the 60's, fall has definitely arrived.

I'm almost finished Fall cleaning. Just have to clean the carpets in the guest room and master bedroom. My arms were sore last night after moving furniture and stretching. Not too bad this morning.

Putting a chuck roast in the crockpot with carrots and potatoes for dinner tonight, then I don't have to worry about cooking. Sister in law brought me 2 acorn squashes the other night so I may put one of those in the microwave to go along with it.

@Snowysmom Good luck to Ethan and Owen in their soccer games. I hope Ethan's arm is well mended

Hope everyone had a nice day. Thank you for the concern for my family. We are all pretty shook up and this latest loss. Talked to my daughter the other day and she only stayed on the phone for about three minutes. She was crying and wanted to hang up. I wish I knew what I could say or do, I guess there really isn’t much.
The weather has been really nice the last 2 weeks, I’m not looking forward to winter.

Good morning. It is 51 here now with temps heading to the 60s. Ethan's soccer game was good. He really tried and did well. Owen was sick so he couldn't play. They had a scout camp out on Saturday and he started vomiting during the night so they had to leave and go back home. He felt better during the day and was eating well with no sign of being sick. Kenny thought it was something he ate. Today I have salt therapy which is very relaxing.
