Do you think Disney would ever get into Casino gaming?

When adjusted for inflation, $10.5 million in 2004 would be $18.02 billion today, a drop of $2.42 billion......or 23%.
I know that’s how business think because they are only in business to make money for shareholders but as an employee I have always disagreed.

Being laid off because a company only made single digit year over year growth and not double digit growth left me jaded.

15 billion is an amazing amount of profit.

Yeah, my former employer had a buy out fall thru. They got $250 million from the corporation whose offer fell thru. Employees didn't see a penny, and there were layoffs.

I think it would take a major management philosophy change to make it happen. Disney currently makes it a point to market to the travel segment that doesn't like gambling -- not just not participating, but not encountering the issues that can go along with it, either. There really are a lot of people who hate being around gambling, and right now Disney uses that to their advantage.
