Good Morning and Happy Friday, Friends,
Chilly here still. I was extra grateful to be able to put the very snowman printed blanket I have on my lap right now on my bed for extra warmth last night. Such a blessing from God, of course, to have a safe and warm bed period.
Dad is doing his usual Friday

followed by

at Ralphs. He will thankfully use a discount through a Kroger gift card we earned and got as credit card cash back. We sure are grateful to be able to gain some extra pennies through that.
God put in my heart last night, words to offer in tribute to Shirley. I'm working on finishing that this morning so that I can email it in plenty of time to my friend Sally who will kindly read it on my behalf at Shirley's Memorial service on 2-28. Better to get something done early.
Shirley really was a human Energizer Bunny as I used to tell her and am incorporating in my memories of her to be read. God willing when I am in my 90s, how extra blessed I would be to have Shirley's health, spunk, and plain energy. Lol, sometimes I was tired just hearing about all she did in a day. She was always up for fellowship and time with her family for sure. I know none of you knew her which is too bad because you would have liked her. But I would appreciate an extra opinion on my piece. PM me if you wouldn't mind reading it. It will just be a page, so not long at all. Thank you.
On a different note, while my teeth are still so clean, I think within the next couple of weeks I will ask dad to find out whether his dentist would be willing to see me very quickly (I am thinking I would need 10 minutes or so of his time), to give me a second opinion. I appreciate so much the kindness and time of my current dentist. I'm in no way intending to doubt him about the hole in the filling. It does seem odd that he hasn't consistently metioned it. To be fair, he knows any dental work has to be a true need due to my tmj. I have also made clear that when any possible issue is in the tiny phase, which is where this is, that is exactly when and not a moment later, that I want to resolve it. I sure learned that lesson back in 2009 when a once tiny cavity that I chose to not get filled needed a root canal. Reminder to each of you to please do not let this happen to you! Anyway, thanks for listening to all this. Onto my replies

Taz, for all the wise and loving care you bless Mikey and all in your life with, especially kids and teens. I still need dad to cut my hair! I hope Mikey's haircut goes well and job prayers to him indeed.

extra to you. I am so sorry about your lost pictures. Great reminder to back up important photos and documents. I am very grateful to hear your mom is being supportive of you as she should be!
Bobbiwoz, enjoy your

lunch with Faye. Thank you for sharing about her with us. The two of you are so blessed to have such a long friendship. I'm truly so thankful God has given you many who so care for and support you and Tom, too, including all of us, your Quacker family.
Snowysmom, ITA with other Quackers that donating any excess canned or other food you may not have need for or truly enjoy even, would be a wonderful gift you can give to Chris and of course, God by helping to feed His sheep. Thank you for already doing just that.

and prayers that tomorrow's condo visit will be a positive and helpful experience for you.
Footballmouse, yikes to that drastic and frigid

temperature drop. Please stay warm and bundle up well when you need to go out. Enjoy the blessing of another afternoon with precious Mia. God Bless you and truly huge thank you for giving Livia the love and support of family. You are absolutely heeding God's call by making a life long kind difference to her. Congratulations always to her and Jacob.
Lynn, praises extra to God! I am so very thankful extra to Him that this message finds Don having turned a corner!

that he eats well today and regains more energy in so doing. Always prayers that you both take care. Summer, I sincerely pray, is getting the care and support she needs. I love your morning

picture. It reminds me of a greeting card that way back in the mid 90's my grandma and I loved to repeatedly send to each other. The card had a dog standing on a ladder looking into a house window. The message said something like, "just looking in on you to see how you are doing." Short, sweet, and full of love. Please take care, too, my friend.
Easyas, enjoy extra time this weekend with your kids along with the blessing of being able to help plan a wedding.

that you have something so special to look forward to and participate in the process of making happen, too.
PollyannaMom, prayers you and cats alike are warm, well, and having a good Friday. How is your son doing?

Wishing all of dear you a good day. I will check in later
