Called WDW twice tonight - First CM had the personality of a dry sponge. Second one didn't seem to understand what I was asking. I confirmed my ressie, then requested an upper level villa with a pool or woods view. She was silent for about 30 seconds, then said that reservation didn't indicate what view I'd have. She said it said it would only have a balcony or patio. I asked if she could just put in my request and I got hurried off the phone, with her saying, "Yeah, yeah, I'll add it."

Should I call back? I know requests aren't guarantees, but I at least want to be sure my request is "heard."

Should I call back?

Is this a DVC points reservation? If it is, did you call DVC member services?

When I stayed VWL in March, our room was assigned at check-in, so it may not matter what is on your request.

I suspect too you might have been calling the wrong number, since MS is not open at night.

No, I'm not a DVC member, just booked the VWL directly through (407) WDW-Magic.

Is there another number I should call?

are you in the villas or the lodge? And asking for a pool or woods view?? If you don't get a pool view, you will get a woods view? Unless I am confused, what other views are there?(of course the dumpster view!!)

This is why I don't request anything except non-smoking, just be happy with what you get, you could be surprised!

Maybe I'm the one that was confused. Sorry! I've never been to the villas before and wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking the service area. But, I'll just relax and wait til we get there.
