I need lots of prayers. We have started our trip with luggage broken by airline but they replaced with a new bag although smaller. My DD15 dropped her phone in water.....but was able to blow dry it and it still works...

So you the last you guessed it. :eek:I used the ladies room near Garden Grill in Epcot last evening. Walked out to be seated for dinner and ran back 30 seconds and it was gone. MY cell phone, license, ID's , gift cards and cc and $$$ and not even 30 seconds later its gone. Searched the trash and everything. Nothing turned in at Epcot and I have called three times. Went to lost and found nothing.

I don't think I will see it again. I think they took cash and visa gift card and trashed the rest. I put a stop on cc and rewards card but the debit card is a loss I can't replace and photos. Need to call about license to fly home. :scared1:

I have a rain cloud over me and family for the last two years and this is the icing on the cake when we are finally going away for my conference and a vacation.

I am so sorry you are having such awful luck this trip. We lost some pins in Mama Melrose last year, but not comparable to your losses!
Stay positive, it may turn up. If someone has stolen it, shame on them. You never know, it may be retrieved or something.
My mother had her purse stolen here in the UK. Ten years later a farmer had found it in a hedge, she got the shock of her life when she got the call from him! Ironically all the money was gone.

I hope your trip goes really well from now on. Lots of pixie dust thrown your way:)

My daughter once left her camera on a bench in Epcot. We didn't realize it for hours. Once we did, we went to Guest Relations (or whatever they call it) but no one had turned it in there. So they had us fill out a lost and found form, but I figured that was just to make us feel better and we'd never see it again.

Imagine my surprise when we got a call the next day from Lost and Found saying someone had turned it in!

So - don't give up hope just yet. Someone decent may have found it, and it might make it's way back to you in time... :littleangel:

Once when we were there, Max sat down his iPod Touch and when we came back, it was gone. I gave all my information to the hotel (it was lost in the arcade), but figured if anyone was going to turn it in, they would have already done it. Low and behold, about two days later, I got a call that someone had turned it in. So, leave your information and maybe someone will turn yours in too.

Keep trying the lost and found. DS's shoe showed up six days after it was lost. We called every day. Also, be very specific about what it looks like and stop by lost in found in person if you can.

File a report with security. I left my wallet in te mesh bag on Ee and Disney was great! They searched all the car on all the trains, had me fill out some forms, disabled my kttw card and gave me information about what to do at the airport. It was eventually found on top of a trash can minus the money but the cards were there that's all
I cared about.

Not giving up yet...just feeling like if someone did find it they would of turned it in already.

I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I too lost a purse in MK last year - after the afternoon parade. It must have slipped off my shoulder in Main street when I took the camera backpack off because it was heavy. We followed the end of the parade and then went to Frontierland before I realized I didn't have my purse (also passports, credit cards a few hundred $$$ in cash - which I NEVER carry with me but we had planned to do some spending that night!) I did get it back the same day though.

DD also lost something and that never turned up BUT they did say when we called lost and found to give it up to 48 hours to make it to the inventory to track. I hope you get it back and soon

I went to Central Lost and Found this morning and there was nothing. Called again about an hour ago and nothing. I also called Epcot twice today and nothing. :confused3

Danielle from the Garden Grill walked me over to Guest Relations and stayed while I filled the report. She was so nice she took our names so we wouldn't get charged for dinner or the no show fee. Jamie from Guest Relations was a huge help. He cancelled our room keys and reissued new ones, reissued our passes. Gave us the phone to call the cc and rewards company. Very helpful. Now just waiting for pixie dust. :wizard:

So glad you got your purse back!
Thanks so much! I am going to think good thoughts and say prayers:wizard:

I'm so sorry for all of your mishaps. I find it so incredibly sad that in almost all cases of lost purses/wallets, the cash and/or gift cards is missing when it is turned in. I just cannot imagine even being tempted to rifle through someone's belongings, let alone take money...and you'd think at Disney people are family-oriented and honest. Guess not.

I hope your missing items turn up. :(

I really hope you get your bag back! I'll send a little prayer to St Anthony, the patron saint of lost things, on your behalf. I'm so afraid of what happened to you that I keep our tickets, money, gift cards, credit cards and IDs in a waterproof lanyard I wear around my neck. So far so good.

On a positive note, my husband is notorious for losing his wallet and finding it again. He left it in the seat back pocket on a flight from Virginia to Hawaii, left it on the roof of the car and drove off when we were vacationing in NC, and just last week, left it on the table at a frozen yogurt shop. He got it back all three times so there is hope!!!

Sorry this happened and hoping your purse shows up!!

Last Dec. I left my backpack on a chair while we were eating outside at a resort. It had everything, wallet, cash, credit cards, tickets, my cell phone, car keys. As soon as I realized I had left my backpack I asked all CMs in the area and then went to the concierge to see if anything had been turned in. The CM checked and left to go look somewhere 'in the back'. I was extremely upset at myself! While she was gone I had a thought and asked another concierge if I could use the phone. I called my cell phone. Someone from Disney answered and said he would bring my backpack out to the desk!!. Imagine my surprise when the concierge came back to the desk and said sorry, nothing had been turned in! I told her about my cell phone call and in a few minutes the CM who had answered walked over with my backpack!! :yay: With such a big operation it can sometimes take a while for lost items to make their way to where they can actually be found and returned.

I lost an iPod once. I thought I'd never see it again. It came in the mail to my house 4 weeks after we left Disney! In perfect condition.

Hope it's just lost in the CM hustle and bustle and it turns up soon! Most people are good people who would turn something important in. Sending you pixie dust hopes!

So sorry about your bad luck. If it makes you not feel so alone we have had a couple years of constant bad luck ourselves. I keep holding on to the little good things that happen in between and know it can't last forever.

We found a purse and a bag from one of the stores at Disney in the past and turned it in both times. So there is hope. I have heard people say if they don't take the money whoever they turn it into will so sadly that is the perception some have when they find a wallet or purse.
