PSs question update from fall

During the fall and early winter, I remember reading about people requesting PS for certain times and not being able to get them, despite how early they contacted WDW. There were questions and guesses about what was going on. There was a guess that the cast members were only scheduling certain times in a narrow framework and then expanding hours the closer it got to the designated dates.

Have people since then experienced similiar problems getting PSs?

I'm only a couple of days away from beginning to make my PSs. I don't want to have unrealistic expectations of this process. It is my first time in WDW and making PSs.

I usually make our PS around the 90 day mark, and I have never had any difficulty getting the times of my choice. This includes last December. Sandie

How do we make priority seatings now? Every time we try to, we end up in a voice mailbox. They used to let us just hold for help. What is going on? Are we doing something wrong? Is there something else we could be doing?
