Looking to get a 2nd PS3. It doesn't seem to be the system of choice this holiday season. Not sure why?

Would you recommend the Move bundle? If so what games are good? Looking for non-killing type games.

Also would like recommendations for games, big hits have been Little Big Planet and Mod Nation Racers. Anything along those lines? (I'm planning to get LBP Karting). Is there a shooting game that shoots at targets rather than living things? How about an archery game?

Also considering Skylanders, if I find a bundle of the toys on craigslist do they work with all game systems...realizing I may have to buy the game specifically for PS3.

Lastly, any great deals on bundles out there? I've seen the one at Walmart.com however none of the games look very appealing.

Thanks!

So glad you asked ;) The Wii U was released on November 18, 2012 which has replaced the Wii. PS3 move hasn't took off like the XBOX kinetic has. PS3 debuted on November 11, 2006 and XBOX 360 released on November 22, 2005. These systems will be replaced very soon. The new XBOX 720 should be hitting shelved next XMAS and Sony has been really hush hush but everything is leaning towards the same time (next christmas). So prepare for a huge launch and crazy shopping next year. It only happens every 6-7 years ;)

We tried out the new Wii and I considered it, and they even say online that they have them in stock at our local Target so I really thought about it hard, however its expensive, the games are expensive, and I'm just not convinced. With the PS3 I get the added bonus of having the blu-ray player also.

I am picking up the PS3 for my son this Christmas - the Uncharted bundle.

It's $199 at Walmart on Thanksgiving at 8 p.m.

Best Buy is also offering it at that price on Thanksgiving at midnight.

Amazon will have a bundle (Uncharted and Infamous) for $199 from 5:10 to 9:10 PST Thursday. Make sure if you shop on Amazon that you pull up the page a bit beforehand and be ready to click and buy.

Any idea if these games will be worth anything in trade? I don't want either of them. Definitely glad to hear there is an online deal, I have no desire to go out and fight with people to get it at Target or Walmart.

Probably not, but you could use whatever you get in trade for an extra controller and at least knock a couple bucks off one.

Do you know if these prices will be on-line as well?

In the past, Walmart has always had their BF prices online as well, but you never know from year to year if that could change.

Someone posted that Amazon has it for that price online, so now there's 3 options to pick this up!

I broke down and bought it at Target.com for $254, but I also got LBP Karting for $25 instead of $60 so I'm ok with that. No crowds!!

Ok found an even better deal, got the PS3 Uncharted, Infamous, another game and headset for $219 online with WalMart. Luckily was able to cancel the Target order!

Right now, you can get that same bundle on Amazon for $199.00 - it's under Black Friday deals. Don't know how long it will last.......
