Proper tipping for a driver

We have hired Tony Hinds to transport our party of 6 from MCO to Universal, Universal to Disney, and Disney to MCO. What is the correct tip, per trip/person/or % of total cost? Also, anyone who has used Tony, do we pay each trip or all at once?

I tip 20 %, you will be asked to pay the entire trip upon arrival (if you didn't prepay) so I pay the trip with a credit card and then 1/2 the tip in cash to the first driver. Then I tip the rest upon the return as we haven't always had the same driver both legs.

If I take advantage of the free grocery stop on the inbound I usually tip a bit more on that leg.

I haven't used Tony yet, but he told me he wanted cash in full upon arrival at the hotel. Hope this helps!

We gave him a card to pay in full upon our arrival 2 days ago and will tip in cash each trip. He has been wonderful!

I tend to tip 10% each leg. If there is a substantial amount of baggage, or a grocery stop, I tip a bit more.

This. 20% for the whole thing with a bit more on the inward leg if there's a Publix stop. When using Tiffany I'll put the full amount on a card on arrival at WDW and tip in cash. The drivers allow this and I think actually prefer getting the tip in their paws.
