Project Runway - Season 3 Official Thread (SPOILERS!!!)

I can't stand that the producers affect the outcome, I still blame them for eliminating Nick and keeping Santino and can't remember the name of the girl with the long hair. Nick should have been final 3 with Daniel and Chloe. Santino made good t.v. that's why he was kept.

Wow, I agree with all of you on your favorites. Don't have the names down yet, but the lady with 5 kids (The Architect)...loved her coat creation. Very well put together. I'm rooting for her.

The white dress with red bow and metal trim fit the model perfectly. I thought that should have won.

Stacy did a so so job, but one designer's dress fit his model poorly. The top of the dress was way too big for the model's bust, and the dress top stuck out extremely far when viewed from the side. It was a long reddish pattern dress.

I love that the old way of model selection is back! :thumbsup2

wow, I didn't see that one coming! I don't want to post the outcome, but lets just say it wasn't who I expected!!! The two winners are my favorites.

Whoa!
I thought he'd be around for a while longer.

Tonight's elimination - :crazy2:

I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't watched yet, but I was in total disagreement on this one!!! I actually was starting to like this person!! Granted, the dress was not that great...but I can think of someone else who really should have gone!! :furious:

Should I put spoiler in the title so we can talk freely?

Robert and Kaynes dress was absolutly stunning. What was with the guy who designed last weeks coffee filter dress though? It was so plain-jane for that sort of event. :confused3

Probably not a bad idea, some folks can be so sensitive sometimes ;)

The Miss Universe pageant is on this weekend - Sunday on CBS so we can watch Miss USA work that dress on the show :) I'm glad they won too!

I felt really bad for Malan when he told the story about his mom. I've been there done that with my mom and he looked really hurt telling the story. So sad. I'm still watching it so I don't know who got axed yet but I kind of hope it isn't Malan now.

Ehhhh Crudsicles, it is Malan.

I felt bad for Malan tonight. I think Vince is a crazy one. He looks like he can have a nervous breakdown at any moment. I don`t understand why the girl he was working with didn`t say to the judges she offered to help and he just told her to hang out. :confused3

I loved Robert and Kanes dress! :thumbsup2

For as creepy as I thouht Malan was last week, I did feel sorry for him, especially after that story he told. Also, didn't Miss USA say no white, it looked like Laura and coffee filter guy used white.

 Poor Malan. I think he has great style. They sure built him up in the promos only to eliminate him in the 2nd challenge. Wow! I was shocked. I was sure that Angela was gone.

I wonder if the producers were still mad that Malan accepted to be a contestant for Season 2, and then dropped out. :confused3

Malan's dress did remind of a Yule Tide Log Cake that my mom makes at Christmas! :rotfl:

Okay, I felt like I was seriously going crazy last night. Vincent wouldn't let Angela? Allison? whatever her name is, do a darn thing on the dress and they almost send her home?

I imagine she defended herself to the judges, we just lost it to editing? But that guy is a looney! And then when I saw the poll that nearly 60% of voters were on his side?

I bet it's a case of the producers affecting the outcome. I mean, the first question asked of that team is how they worked together as a team. I'm feeling more and more like the judges are knowing what's going on behind the scenes before the runway show even happens. And, to quote last season, that's whickety whack.

That Vincent annoys me so much. What a whiner! I didn't like his dress week 1 and I didn't like it this week either. Malan may have poorly executed his design this week by making it too short and by rouching(sp) it to death, but I thought he had much more real talent then that Vincent.

As for Angela, or Allison, or whatever her name is, she won't be around long I predict. She is hanging off the coattails of the other designers -- can't sketch designs, can't construct gowns, can't this, can't that. She won't last, just like the poor soul from week 1 who couldn't use the industrial sewing machine.

Yeah, if there's one thing I've learned from watching those 'behind reality' tv shows, it's that MOST reality tv that has to do with contests are VERY scripted by producers, whether it's influencing judges decisions, or causing certain situations to happen between contestants.
